The 7 natural wonders of the world

I've seen the Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef, and an Aurora (Borealis in my case).

Just 1 - Aurora Borealias; the Northern Lights. Where I grew up in Northern Canada they were as much a part of a winter's night sky as the moon and stars. I didn't even know they were anything special.

I'm not a big "nature" person and have no interest in ever travelling to Australia, Brazil or any African country so most of the list is a "no" for me. We did try to take a trip to the Grand Canyon once (epic fail - long story) just to say we'd been there and might again someday.

Been to Grand Canyon, want to return with wife & kids. Would like to see Everest & Victoria Falls. Doubt I ever will.

My wife traveled a great deal with her family when she was growing up, and I did not. I always hear "I've been there before" whenever I talk about new places I'd like to see. I need to get a Neuralyzer from the movie Men In Black just so we can experience some new places together.

That's us in reverse. My parents were teachers & we travelled a LOT in Summer. DW never took a vacation anywhere before we met. Not one. Most of the places we've been together were repeats for me. But, I love going back & seeing it through her eyes (and the kids' eyes as well now). Naturally, I enjoy new places too :)

I haven't seen any yet, but the Grand Canyon is on our list of potential vacations, so I hope to see it someday.

I've been to the Grand Canyon once. I remember attending a nighttime park ranger talk, and our ranger (whose said her geology degree focused on volcanoes) said the Grand Canyon isn't "the largest, the widest, or the deepest canyon in the wold, but it's the grandest".

Oh wow! I made the list! Oh, you mean they put that weird natural light show on the list instead of me? Ah well. :rolleyes1

Seriously, I've seen the Aurora Borealis, but have yet to see the other six wonders on that list. The other six wonders are on my bucket list, along with a few places I want to see. :thumbsup2
