The 4th of July

exactly why i'm worried, we're not - she's in town for a convention so we're staying at the hotel where her convention is (it's free...can't beat it!)

We will be there from July 2nd - 15th. We have ADR all set for Rose & Crown 5:30pm .... We have been at Epcot on New Years Eve and crouded is an understatement, we even faced some major grid lock by Mexico it was pretty scarey, even the Disney big wigs were worried! I hope they figured out a better way to manage the traffic .... if it gets to be too much we will head back to the hotel (BCV) for a swim..... We are counting the day's until we are back home in Disney

I did MK for the 4th in 1999 - wow that park was insane! We actually did the anti-crowd thing and instead of scoping a spot for fireworks, we rode everything in Fantasyland and trucked over to Adventureland too. We rode the Jungle Cruise solo. Then, we watched the fireworks from near the Jungle Cruise - it was magical!
It looks like we might be there this year too!

We visited the MK on the 4th of July in 2002. It was sooooooo busy. We had a great day and I'm glad to say I have done it but I would never visit another park on that date.

That being said I hope you have a fantastic time

Me me me! I'll be there for the 4th of July! It will be my first time in Disney for the 4th and I'm really excited to see just HOW they can make Illumnations any better than it is!!! Needless to say, I'll be in Epcot I'm making my dinner reservations this weekend- any places anyone reccommends? I was thinking either the Rose Crown & Pub (although I'm not a big fan of English food), San Angel Inn (outside), or Japan.

Hi Isis151miu, DS and I will also be at Epcot on the 4th. We don't have ADR so we will eat early and then find a spot to see the fireworks. Also there will be alot of DIS family out there also displaying that fabulous lime green keep a look out!

My DH and I will be there from 6/29-7-8!!! Only three days away!

This will be our second time at WDW on the 4th. The first time was 2002, and we went to the MK, because I had always wanted to do that. Yes, the crowds were crazy. But, we went there knowing that we may not get on many rides and just enjoyed the day. We walked around, as leisurely as the crowds allowed. The flag ceremony was extra special that day, since it was the 4th. I was in tears. The park was decorated beautifully. But, the best was the astounding fireworks display. I have never seen anything like it before or since.

We loved the experience so much, that we will at MK again. We already booked our meals for that day, beginning with breakfast in the Castle, so we are all set in that department. We know, from past experience, that we will probably wait a little bit still for our seats, but not nearly as long as those who never made ressies.

We're staying at the POP Century. When we went in 2002, we were supposed to stay there, but they didn't finish in time. So, we're going there now. I'm looking forward to it.

I am new to the board but I will be at the Beach Club Resort for the Fourth of July!!! This is our first time staying there so I hope we like it.

I will be in DisneyWorld on the 4th of July I will be at the Magic Kingdom I will go to the 1900 park fair to have a cute little character dinner with my tiny little mice friends Suzy and Perla I get to see Suzy and Perla on the 4th of July

I am a Epcot girl so that is where we will be. Eventhough I love all the parks seeing Illuminations from around the world always leave me breathless.

We'll be there for the 4th staying at CBR! I have ADRs for Kona Cafe for breakfast and then dinner at Cali Grill from 6pm-10pm (their special 4th dinner). Then afterwards we'll probably go to Epcot. And between breakfast and dinner we'll probably go to MGM.
