Really?? I have been so focused on the weather in FL that I haven't even looked at our weather in PA!!!

Thanks, It will be busy, but I like this kind of busy. My DDs are old enough to help and are quite good at packing!

Just caught up on your PTR! I love the idea of the photo scavenger hunt. Very clever & I can't wait to see how it turns out. Some of those pictures should be pretty interesting! and You should see the little cards that DH made up and laminated for each of us. You know how people say that when a couple have been together for a long time they begin to look alike. Well, in this case, we began to act alike. This is so something I would have done.

Today is Disney movie night. We still don't know what we are going to watch. We will have to wait until after DD16 gets home from Basketball.

Thanks for your concern. The reason it was so challenging was because my curriculum was so different from previous years. So, I thought that I would stay in the same place and try a second year with the same curriculum. I'm hoping it is easier the second time around. I hope this makes sense.

I'm pushing for an older movie; Beauty and the Beast, Little Mermaid. DH really likes the PIXAR movies. We may have to put all of the titles in a hat and choose one that way. Hey, that's an idea. I could probably get DD 13 to organize this.

24 hours from now we will be packing the van!!

The Mickey sundaes were just OK. I don't think I did them right.

Tonight we play Disney Scene It. There is a little back story. The game belongs to DD 13. She is the least competitive person you will ever meet. The only times when she has won was against me. When DD 16 plays, she always wins. DH has never played. SO, I decided that the teams tonight will be DD 16 and DD 13 against DH and myself. I hope this means that DD 13 wins.

We played Disney Scene It tonight. It was loads of fun.

Everything that can be done tonight is done. The bags are packed. We have to pack the van, get gas and ice for the cooler in the morning.

I have a little surprise for the girls in the morning. Then on Monday I have a Disney Jeopardy to play in the car. My goal is to make another one during our trip about things that happened to play on the way home.

We are all very excited. This is going to be so much fun.

Well, we are on our way. We left this morning around 9:00. We got to Mt. Vernon around 11:15. We ate lunch in the car and headed into the grounds for a wonderful few hours. We toured the mansion and saw some really neat things. We learned a lot about George and Martha that I didn't know. It is beautiful.

We left there around 3:15ish. We arrived in Fayetteville, NC around 8:30. We are staying at a Doubletree hotel. It is very nice and has WiFi. There is a Waffle House across the street for Breakfast. Having lived in the South for 6 years in the 90's, I really miss Waffle House. I can't wait!!!

We are hoping to get into Orlando around 6:00-7:00. We have no plans at all. We are on vacation!!!!

Our family loves Waffle House too! My dad grew up in the South and my brother and his family lives there now. So, we are very familiar with Waffle House, and just have to eat there at least once, if not more every time we travel in the South. My DH loves the steak and eggs. I just have to have my grits!

We are in NC on our way home. We are hoping to be home by dinner tomorrow. I'm not sure how long it will take me to start my report.

It was very hot!!!!! And the storms were incredible.
