I can honestly say one thing that is 100% true. All of the early pundits who couldn't wait for a San Jose vs. Washington/Pittsburgh series can go pound sand. There is NO WAY, any of those matchups would have been as hard fought, or as entertaining as this Flyers/Hawks series has been. Kudos to both teams for bringing "old timey" hockey back for the post-season!

What a ride..who the he** would have thought the Flyers would make it this far, this season. NOT me..that is for sure. The Flyers stunk up most of the season, and made it to the playoffs by the skin on their teeth. To have a game 6..tied at 4 minutes left.. OMG.. hockey does not get better than this. I just can't say enough what a great ride this has been as a hockey fan.

Kudos to the Blackhawks for putting their speed and skill to work. Kudos to the Flyers for being the blacksheep of the playoffs and playing with such heart.

I am writing this as I watch the last few minutes. I think the Ref.just blew the call for the Icing..Hawks were there first. 1:22 left..

OMG.. I can feel the grey hair growing..

1:01 left to play..game 6. Stanley cup all polished up for the Hawks.. Flyers saying No..

Ref's blow a call..Flyers should be on Power Play.. 30 freakin' seconds left in regulation.

10 seconds.. 6..3...OT>>

I have to leave to charge the battery on the laptop and I don't think I can type while watching OT hockey.. I'll be too busy chewing my nails and pulling my hair.

.this is un-b-friggin' leaveable. Both teams deserve the cup at this point.

Hawks, Sox, Bulls Bears, ... seems like someone is missing from the list of Champions on the last 25 years. Wait, maybe we could expand the time frame, 50, 75, 100 nope still no one else. Guess that is all the Chicago teams. Congrats to all the Hawks fans.

Also I have to say, Philly you played a hell of a series. The Flyers were a better team than I thought. I think they were our toughest opponent in the playoffs. Kind of a surreal ending to the game.

I"m from the Chicago burbs (Palos Hills) originally. Sox fan, Cub hater........so I"m having some fun with Cub fans in this thread. However, the city can celebrate our Hawks !!!!! Parade friday, bring the Cup to
Wrigley for the Sox/Cubs game, lol...gridlock. WOO HOO HAWKS !!!
