Hello,
I have been reading this thread for a while. We had our first stay ( Husband and I only for Anniversary) at Yacht Club this past December and it was amazing. Our next family trip in June we are staying on the Beach Club side, I'm sure it's just as nice. In December it was too cold to use the pool so I have no idea what the pool hours were. Anyone know what time it opens in June? In December it closed early like 8 PM.Also we have a standard room booked, not sure what I should request but would like to be close to SAB if possible. I'm very excited to be staying at these resorts again.
Thanks,
Nichole
thank you for the link. I found a great set of SAB photos from it, which is better than I'd been coming up with by simple googling.
Here's the website if anyone else is interested. I think SAB is incredibly difficult to photograph, so it's nice to see someone else attempt to do it (and succeed, too):

Hi Teena,
Quick question for you. My kids are very into pin trading, do you have a lanyard for pin trading? I only let them trade with CMs and would love for them to trade with you.
thanks and have a great day.
Oh yes, it's a huge part of my job. I think today I traded 50 pins.
Hi, all!
I have enjoyed lurking and reading your posts. This looks like a friendly group!
My family will be returning to the Beach Club for our upcoming Jan Marathon weekend trip. The ONLY thing we didn't absolutely love about our stay at the BC was the l-o-n-g walk from the elevator to our room. I felt as if I needed to leave a trail of breadcrumbs to find our room!
Does anyone know if you could walk straight out the back door of the patio rooms to go to Epcot? (Does the door lock behind you?) It sure would save some time going to the parks.
Please forgive me if this is an often-asked question. I haven't read through the entire thread.
I am looking forward to getting to know y'all better as I plan our Jan 2011 trip!
Thanks for the quick reply and advice. I'll request a room close to the lobby, then.
On direct outside acccess for BC (and YC) Teena is (of coursecorrect that you should not leave through your patio and not lock your door.

Your room may be far away from the lobby and with long hallway walks. It is often helpful to check out the stairways in your wing, and be able to chart your course to the secondary elevators, not just the main elevator banks. Some stairs come out in very favorable places to outside access and others some not so much. We don't have trouble with walking or stairs, so we find it kind of an adventure to explore. I know that is not the case for everyone.
We've had a couple "where the heck is this?" moments but mostly "Cool, that's really close to [xyz]" moments.
Where are the club level rooms? Are there stairs to get to them?
Hi Teena! We spoke briefly in February when we were last there. Of course fell in love with the BC and will be back in October

So glad you are coming back!! And my favorite time at the BC - Food & Wine Festival!
The garden/standard and water view club level rooms, along with the Presidential and Vice Presidential suites, are located on the fifth floor. You cannot access that floor by steps. The lounge is also on the fifth floor. You have to use your key in the elevator to get access to the fifth floor. There are one and two bedroom suites and deluxe rooms on the first, second, third and fourth floors that also give you club level access (in other words, your room keys will give you access to the fifth floor where the club level lounge and concierges are).
So it would be possible to stay on the first floor and still be at club level? I do not handle elevators well and we wanted club level.
Yes, if you booked a deluxe room or a one bedroom suite and requested a first floor room and actually got it. (No requests are guaranteed.) However, you would still need to use the elevator to get up to the club level lounge which is on the fifth floor.
I'm confused, we are staying at YC CL in 3+ weekcool1
I thought that meant we would be on the 5th floor am I wrong? We could be any where in the resort?
I thought CL meant 5th floor.
