Just returned from the Yacht club. LOVED it! But my heart still belongs in Ft. Wilderness in a cabin.

Hi it's our 1st time at YC on the 6th Dec,our booking says we have a water/pool view,does this mean we will be on a certain floor?
Also as it's our first time there does anyone have any tips etc on the YC?

The YC is a terrific resort - we stayed there in Jan and loved it so much, we are returning in a couple of weeks. A water view can be on any floor - you can add a request to your ressie to be ground level or higher up, whichever you prefer.

I think you will love the easy walk to Epcot and the boat ride or walk to DHS. The Boardwalk has great atmosphere at night with street performers, carnival games, etc.

I'm not sure if you have your ADR's yet, but the YC has two really good restaurants - the Captain's Grill and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

When we stayed at YC waterview we always requested lakefront - and had a terrific view of Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk. You will LOVE YC!

We will be checking into the Beach Club for the first time in 1 week . We are all so excited about staying here, I can't wait to see the carosel in person. This is our first time coming to Disney this time of year, I have only ever seen the decorations in pictures....it is all going to be surreal to me. I am hoping the next week will fly by. I hope everyone one has a Wonderful and Safe Turkey Day P.S. TeenaS I can't wait to stop by and say hi to you, you have been a big help to us "Newbies of the BC"

WooHoo! I am at work right now, but so distracted by the fact that I will be at the Beach Club in just a few days!! We are so excited to stay here and can't wait to see it decorated for Christmas

I did online check-in and the itinerary details said "package - pirate, water view" or something like that. Does anyone know what that means? Pirate sounds fun I assume it's a room code on our ressie?

We are from MN, so we will definitely be in the pool! See you other "hearty souls" at Stormalong Bay!

Oh yeah, quick question...

We have an 8:05 AM ressie at Tusker House in AK one morning. Will we have trouble getting an early bus to AK from BC? Will we need alternative transportation? Anyone experienced this?
