Just have to post so I can see my countdown so low!! Will be at the BC tomorrow night by this time. :cool1:

I am so in need of a vacation after this week. My Dh got in a car accident. He wasn't hurt thankfully but the car is a goner. Not happy because we just got a new van last spring and his car was our no payment car that we were going to get every last mile out of. Now we'll have to take on another car payment. :sad1: Thank goodness the trip was already paid off or Dh may have made me cancel! :scared1:

It will be nice to step out of reality for a week and not have to worry about all that. I get to spend my B-day at WDW too, that'll be a first for me! :cheer2:

I will try and catch you Teena!!! I'll stop back and report after I get home for everyone else! I know this thread has been so very helpful for my planning!

Oh my goodness. Hurry up and get here and forget about the car and just enjoy yourself. I hope to see you Sunday or Monday!!!!

A week from today we are checking in (after one night at POFQ ) to BC CL! Can't believe it is finally here. We have our costumes for MNSSHP just need to start packing.

Can anyone tell me the difference between a Standard CL Room and a "Deluxe" CL Room? Are they bigger or have different layout? :confused3

TIA for any help.

We stayed in a deluxe CL room for two weeks this summer and LOVED it!

I think it was about 150 sq. feet bigger. The layout is a little different as you have somewhat of a foyer entrance. Also the daybed/couch coffee table are further away from the bed than in a standard room. The room we had (1557) had a tone of windows. One window faced Crescent Lake and the Boardwalk and there were two more sets of windows, plus the patio french doors, facing out by the quiet pool. It was our favorite room of all times! DH really wants to do that room again next summer, but that is our summer to buy new APs so I don't think it's going to happen - we'll see.

Thanks for that reply:thumbsup2 Do you have any pics of that room posted on here anywhere? Thanks

I don't have any pictures but somewhere on this thread are pictures of the Deluxe Club Room 4557. Our room was exactly the same except it had a patio instead of a balcony, and we had one more set of windoes (the ones that faced Crescent Lake).

1st day back from our first stay at BCV. I had booked exactly at the 7 month window because we wanted to stay there for food and wine.

We did a split stay and moved from CSR to BC on Sunday morning. We got off our boat and went to the Yacht club to register but they were very nice and just told how to get to beach club. The beach club people laughed and referred to YC as the "dark side". We all laughed at that because we all had on our Star Wars shirts.

It was our first stay and we were not disappointed. There was a very nice lady to say hi and check in was perfect. At concierge Ryan helped me out and noticed my lanyard from dream team. He was on the team and we chatted about the program and other team members. He knew and is friends with Bob who gave us a wish in MK! It was so nice that he even had heard about our DS dream day at the studios.

We got our room at 10:30 in the morning. The nice lady at the entrance assured me it was going to be nice and she was right. She also said it is amazing that they had a room for us so early. We were ground floor with a great garden view. The beds were smaller than at CSR but have a sofa and table was just so nice. The pool was the hit with the kids and even DH liked the sand bottom. I loved everything from the welcome home to the nice tile in the shower.

The best however is location. We walked back and forth to Epcot and boated to HS. We were so happy to have two parks right there without having to bus.

Everything was perfect except having to leave, it just makes me us sad. We had the pleasure of having Art just say hi to us even though he was helping another customer. He was wonderful to see and I am glad I got to see him for my first and last time. The lady was very nice and she gave me words of encouragement when I needed them the most.

On our very last nite when we returned after dinner there was a bag on the counter. Inside was a card from our dream member Bob and a gift for DS. Ryan had arranged it and even though YOMD is over the magic continues.

It seems that everyone at the BC goes above and beyond to make the guest happy. I am already counting down until I can make my next trip back to BCV.

I'm good and I miss you and the family too!!

I sent an email to one of the ladies I work with that may know exactly which one the pillows, comforter and sheet set it is in the catalog. I have no idea ... sorry. I'll report back or she will just answer you here herself.

As far as the scent, it is green clover and aloe and the systems for the home can be found at www.scentairhome.com.

When are you planning your next visit to the BC?[/QUO

We cant wait to come back to the BC!! I am hoping for the 4/3 deal to extend into the summer again, then we will be back for sure. Been to WDW 5 times and this was by far the best vacation ever  Thank you so much for making it so special!!! You are the best :littleangel:

I am so happy to be able to JUST go but we have a standard room. I have no idea what it will be or what the view will be but I don't mind. We are blessed and so excited. Any pointers you can give on the BC would be appreciate!!!! :yay:

My friend said the only thing she could find out about the sheets was that the ones they use at the BC are the 250 thread count. Hope that helps.

I sure hope you get back next summer and please give the kids a big hug from me!!!

We've had a standard room many times. You will LOVE BC!
Some of the kids favorite things to do are the kids activities at the pool in the afternoon and the campfire and movies on the beach each night.

We love being able to walk over to EPCOT and the Boardwalk, and take the ferry to DHS. There is such a "happy feel" to BC. We love Beaches and Cream and the Cape May Buffet. BC Marketplace takes a lot of heat, but we actually like the sandwiches, soup, desserts and gelato. It is small but we would take the food into the solarium and that was very relaxing.

The pool is the best on Disney property. I don't know how old your kids are but my kids loved the Albatross Cruise that leaves from the YC marina.

THe Illuminations Cruise is pricey but we split it with another family and loved it.

I can hardly believe that we leave for WDW and the Beach Club tomorrow morning. I wanted to thank everyone on this list for all of the fabulous input and pictures. You've been so helpful. It's been a very cold and windy week in Chicago, so we're looking forward to some Florida sunshine.

We'll be celebrating our daughter's 5th birthday next week, so this is an extra special trip for us.

We're packed and ready to go! I'm bringing my laptop with me, so I'll be sure to post an update while we're down there.

Teena, here we come!!!

Regina, Joe, Kate and Julia

Almost forgot - don't forget to stop and say Hi to our very own Teena. She is the greeter on most Sundays and Mondays (unless she's off on a Disney cruise!). To our family Teena is the heart and soul of the BC!

You will love BC. I know we can't wait to get back there!

Thanks Robin! Have a wonderful trip and please do report back. We are sort of neighbors, I am in South Jersey and work in Cherry Hill! LOL Have a wonderful trip. Can't wait to get there and my kids are 20 and 22, (our 24 is married and teaching so she had to beg off) but we all looking forward to the Disney Magic!!! :flower3:

Teena ! I will look forward to seeing you then on Sunday, January 3, 2010! That's when we check into the BC!! So stoked!!!

Hi all!!!

I am sitting here at SAB checking in from my crackberry. I love this place so much. So sad that we are leaving tomorrow. Not sure when we'll be back at this resort. We love trying out new resorts each trip. When we are ready to repeat, this is the first one I want to come back to.

We are having dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse tonight. I'll have a review in my dining review thread that's linked in my sig.

I hope to be able to see Teena tomorrow if I have a chance to get over to th BC lobby.

The CM's here have been wonderful. So helpful and friendly.

So sad we have to leave.

I look forward to meeting you too. I was born and raised in Burlington County, NJ. My husband got transferred to the Harrisburg area and we raised our family there. Then we retired to Florida and WDW!!!! Make sure you send me a PM a week before you arrive to remind me you are on your way!!!
