If that person needs an accessible villa, you options will be limited. However, all those rooms seem to be close to an elevator.

If not, I would ask to be close to BC. Those villas will be most convenient to the bus stop and restaurants. All of them are also close to elevators. I would be sure to ask the CM who makes the reservation why you are making that request.

Does anyone have any pics of B&C at breakfast time? And pics of the food???Cmo'n late Septmber!!!!!!;)

Sorry I can't locate the answer in search. Does anyone know when the room renovations will be complete at the YC?

teena, by the time you read this you should be back from your trip and we should be at beach club!! I hope you had a wonderful vacation and i'll look for you on aug 1st or 2nd in the lobby! We're a family of 5 from NY, dh, myself and 3 kids DS & DD age 7 1/2 (but dd looks closer to 9) and DS who just turned 5 and DH and he will be celebrating their birthdays!
hope your cruise was all you hoped it would be and then some!

I was told that it was taking 3- 4 weeks per floor and they are now on 4th floor working from top.

Does anyone have any current pictures of the 1 or 2 bedroom BCV? or a link to some pictures?

My head is spinning from trying to decide which place to stay. We're definitley leaning towards the villas, and when we saw BLT pictures- all bright and shiny and new, well that blew us away.
HOWEVER, I still keep coming back to the BCV, because of SAB, the theming, the coziness.

Anyone info would be much appreciated!!!:worship:

Thanks :flower3:

Another question about the BCV...
In the 2 bedroom villa, I haven't seen any pics of a room with 2 queens. Is that an option? Both my kids sleep like Kung Fu Panda- and to put them in the same bed- ugh! I do know that some rooms have the pull out sofa in the extra bedroom, so that is an option! Just wondered if some have 2 beds! thanks!

Hi! This will be our first time staying at BC and our first time visiting WDW with our DD (21 months). I had a random question about the rooms, sorry if it's already been asked. I saw that a fridge is listed in the room amenities. Is that just a typical minifridge? We are ordering some necessities via Garden Grocer and wanted to order a gallon (or half) of milk for our DD. It's usually the first thing she asks for in the morning and she usually asks for it before bed too. Is that feasible for us to order? Or any suggestions?

We are so excited to stay this close to Epcot! I'm pretty sure we'll be snacking in the World everyday!

Regular BC rooms (not BC villas) have the mini frig. I would get two quarts of milk - I know the gallon won't fit and I don't think even the half gallon would either. Have a great time. We just got back from two weeks at BC and we can't wait to go back!

Here are the DIS' own pictures of BCV.

I don't know if these were before or after the rehab but it doesn't matter as all the patterns and colors are the same. Things were just reupholstered, etc..

There are some 2 BRs dedicated villas with 2 Queens in the second BR. Supposedly 25 of them. I've seen reports that they go quickly and mostly/all to members but I don't know if that is accurate.

The sofa beds are comfortable, though. No middle bar.

I think BLT is a great choice, too.:goodvibes

Thanks for all the info BCV! When you say the rooms go quickly, how far in advance do you suggest we book our room? We plan to go July of 2010!!!
Thanks!

I've exhausted my limited search abilities :scared:so I am turning to you all for help. Can anyone point me in the direction of a room map for YC CL? I'd like to request a specific area for my stay, but I'm not sure where the CL waterview rooms are located.

Thanks (again)!

BCV23, you seem to have great knowledge of the BCV's. short run down for the 2 bedroom villa. There will be me, DH, DS14 and DS's BF14. I have a couple of questions. Do we have to request housekeeping or is it automatically done? Also, if it is not done is there an extra charge for this service and what about the sheets and towels as well? I am sorry for all of the questions but I am just trying to weigh my options as to whether we should get the Jr Suite, 2 club level rooms or a 2 bedroom villa. TIA.:flower3:

Thanks Kimberle! Is it correct to assume that all concierge rooms are on the fifth floor and not spread out like some other resorts?

Yes all of the CL rooms are on the 5th floor. Some suites are on other floors, but the garden view and waterview regular CL rooms are all on the 5th floor, enjoy!!!

Just be warned on YC CL that a garden view could still get you a standard parking lot view. That is one thing that annoys me. You pay for CL and can end up with a standard not so pretty view. the only way to ensure a gorgeous view is to book at the next tier up- water view which is another 100 on top of CL garden per night

Short of a disaster, YC is expected to complete renovations by 10/31.

Yes, if view is very important, do spend the extra $$$ to book waterview CL. Some of the standard / garden view CL rooms at the YC are not the best. If view is not that important, book garden view and request "close to lounge" for better chance of decent view.
