I had high hopes for Troopers the past couple years. At the beginning of the seasons they seemed to really do well. And then the season progressed.........but they didn't. :sad2:

Here is the music for the Cavies show.

# Extreme Make-over by Johan de Meij
# Pampeana No. 3 - Impetuosamente by Alberto Ginastera
# The Engulfed Cathedral by Claude Debussy
# On the Great Divide by John Adams

I'm gonna throw this out there again, and God knows I'm so out of the loop, the show has probably happened! :lmao:

But anyone going to the Tampa regional for WGI? The Sunday show?

Hey Mike.. I may be able to head to Tampa. Been about a thousand years since I have been to WGI. (and you think you are out of the loop)
Wanna hit the Orlando Power Regionals this afternoon?

just me
:surfweb:

Hey stanger, darn it, I didnt know there was an Orlando show! :sad2:

Pretty tied up today, work has been rough this week. Wanna plan on a day trip to Tampa? When is the show? LOL Jeesh, I miss my days in Boston, a show every Saturday night!

Hey I just looked up Tampa, the Ventures are there! Now that may be worth the drive over! :thumbsup2 Wonder if they still rip off a poncho after every song! :lmao:

Mike, this is for you.....because I know you could use a stress reliever.

This guy has color guard experience......but instead of tossing parallels on flag or rifle.....he uses.....something else. :rolleyes1 Enjoy.

PART 1

PART 2

:scared1:

I would so be pulling back a bloddy stump if I tried that with my cats! :rotfl2:

On a side note, one of my past "kids" is tour director for Cavies this summer, he needs a cook......:rolleyes1

I dont think I have it in me anymore, but it does make one think.....

Heck, if they paid well I'd go on tour with them. I'm a good cook. :thumbsup2

Ya I always thought I was too till I faced feeding 200 people 4 meals a day on a budget of $250 a day! In a different town each day mind you!

I used to work for a food service/catering company. It can be done. :thumbsup2 Especially if you buy all the basics (milk, bread, lunch meats, etc.) ahead of time from companies like Sysco, where you get bulk discounts.

Have you seen the Cadets new "food mobile" they got a couple years ago? That thing is about three times as big and nice as the one we had. :sad2:

Have you seen the Cavies kitchen?

A shower, and a washer and dryer!

It's like a rolling apartment!

But I just dont think I have the stregnth to get up at 4 am to hit Walmart for 100 loaves of bread and 50 gallons of milk anymore!

I am still pondering this thought.....:rolleyes1

The only problem I'd have would be forcing myself to go to Walmart. I have an issue with that place. :scared:

You know usually I despise the place! But when a tour director hands you $50 and tells you to feed 200 people breakfast, it somehow becomes your friend! :lmao:

Where is OrlandoMom? She has been on tour, and has great stories!

Oh Mr Mike....

I am sure your stories are alot more fun, seems my brain is having a permanent case of "selective old timers" when it comes to tour.

Although I so remember the the 4am runs to what ever store was open at that time to get those 50 loaves of bread, cases of PB and J, etc. :cool1: after having done the majority of driving all night :scared1: (the primiary driver was good for about 2 hours, and the original relief driver ..well.. yanno how things go on tour, and if we wanted the food truck around in time for breakfast.... someone had to take control

however, after the 12 + hr days at work 6 days a week.. cooking on tour sounds like a vacation :woohoo: at least I could get my cat naps in the afternoon :cloud9:

just me

:surfweb:

Tour cook? Did someone mention feeding oodles of hungry people? :teeth: Be still my heart.

Of course, there'd be none of the Walmart nonsense. :snooty:

(And thus it is revealed why you'll never see me having the honor of being the tour cook)! ;)

I'm sorry......but Wallmart just doesn't cut it for "Amous Bouche Night" or "Tapas Fridays". :rolleyes1
