I read an article somewhere that said they had 50 songs to choose from. so we're hearing less than half the songs on the list, if that's true.

I like Brooke. She's not the best singer...kind of gives me a Carole King vibe. Carole King isn't the best singer, but I appreciate her music. I'd be interested to see if Brooke has the writing chops like Carole King...

Robin, I had to laugh at your comment, that was just my conversation with my 15 year old.

15 year old said something to the effect of "they didn't have a lot of songs to choose from in the 60's'

My response..."the 60's covered 10 years, how could they not have enough songs!"

i listen to 3 different radio stations normally and none of the idols are ever played on them. it's more like....Nine Inch Nails, Tool, Maroon 5, Hinder, bands like that.

at work we have to listen to some godawful station and once in a while i have to sit thru Daughtry(and my ears bleed) and sometimes i hear Elliott Yamin and actually, he's not too bad. but i wouldn't normally listen to him outside of work.

Heck, I was in elementary school thru the 60s and I remember loving music like crazy! I entered kindergarten in 61 and entered the 9th grade in 69. I remember LOTS of songs, folks!!!
