Okay I won't be able to report back if Carrie is rude or not. The high Sunday is 32 and I'm not taking a chance on getting sick and waiting outside unless I have five layers on but I will bring back pictures.

There's also no way I would wear that necklace after it being on the dad.

Can you imagine?! I thought the same thing as you. If you wear a necklace or a ring or just something as a promise to yourself, that's great. Even if you gave the necklace or ring or whatever to your future wife, I actually think that's pretty cute. But the fact that his dad also wore a symbol of his promise (I can't get over the fact that it was the "key to his heart" ) made it seem like this was all his dad's doing, and I'm all for parents knowing what they're kids are up to, but that's a TIGHT leash. And a disturbing one Brandon was cute and seemed like a good kid so the whole thing was just really... odd, and I can't see many girls out there wanting to wear a necklace that his dad's worn for years as a symbol of his son's sex life Oh man, American Idol finds all the interesting people!

And I finally got up to the "nails" kid. What was that?! That's OCD to the extreme! It was weird, but I actually really liked his voice.

I couldn't look at the nails! I got one glance and promptly felt like throwing up. Even now, just thinking about it makes me want to gag. I mean, that can't be normal in any sense of the word.

What's with all the people with problems they're getting this year? There was that one girl who had absolutely no emotion or expression at all; I thought her eyes looked dead. It really freaked me out. And pacing-in-circles-and-humming dude?

I totally agree. I respect the personal decision to not have sex and even to announce it to America- who cares...but to have a "sex pact" with your Dad is truly strange. And the "necklace thing" was silly and girly IMO. Maybe it was just a stunt to be seen by the judges.

I don't thik it was a "stunt" there are some whackos out there, believe you me! I must have missed the fingernails in a bag, guy, don't know how. I liked the "farmer dude" but don't see him going all the way thru, and don't bet on "Meth girl" either. "You are my Brother" bit was hysterical, I could watch that over and over again! Last year, the judges were VERY rude to most of the contestants, and that turned me off, this year, they are playing it up! I like that!

The 'You are my brothaaaa' guy really didn't have all THAT bad of a voice. I was like, he can barely speak English, I know he's not going to be able to sing. But he sang better than he could speak
DH also heard that song on the radio today!!

And about the no kissing guy was pretty weird...I would not want my first kiss with someone to be in front of a bunch of people! Also, I thought the guy should give the girl the key, and him keep the heart...As in, she's the one with the key to his heart. Makes more sense to me that way

It's already playing on the radio!! His voice is better than William Hung, I do have to say LOL.
Plus, he's a song writer, he wrote that song all by himself

I just got home from the Gospel taping. Carrie, well I want to feed her something, she's very tiny. She sang Oh Where Are Thou, I believe was the name. The first time she messed up during it. Then they did it again and recorded it another time. This was the Carrie I remember voting for on Idol. Her voice was right on pitch, and just wow. It will air on Feb. 9th on GAC. I have some pictures but I've got to edit them and find a way to watermark them.

I did have a good time and I was in awe at one point of some of the artists. I'm working on getting my pictures up, I have like 89 pictures I took tonight.
