Wow, that's scary how much they all look alike:scared1:

You guys were really busy last night, it took me a while to catch up.

I wasn't thrilled with last night either. I was completely shocked at Randy's reaction to Carly's performance. I thought she sucked and he's going on and on about how great she was. I thought I must have had a black out or something until Simon went and agreed with me.:happytv:

Kady Malloy – Groovy Kind of Love
Okay, Bimbo blonde number FOUR

I kind of liked this song, but I like Groovy Kind of Love anyway. She seemed like she was going to go postal during the judging... PMS? You better MAN up bimbo, those guys don't just like you because you're POP u lar....:rolleyes1

LOL. She looked so mad the whole time they were judging her, and even at the end. What was her problem?!?!?

My favorites are Brooke and Ramiele.

Random thoughts from last nights show (These are only *my* opinions and we're all entitled to have one):

Kristy Lee Cook - you don't have bronchitis. If you did, you would have a fever so high, you would be all but delirious and there is no way you could sing a song without coughing. Having bronchitis and just about all better are 2 different things.

Alexandrea - If you have a name like that, you should expect people to mispronounce it all your life. It's not their fault, it's your mother's.

Carly - biggest disappointment of the night by a mile. It is no coincidence that on the guy's night, Michael Johns went last ,and last night she went last. I think the judges love these two and they were placed in that order so they would be fresh on our minds when we voted.

The ONLY time I disagreed with Simon the whole night is when he said he likes when the contestants disagree with him and show attitude because I peresonally hate that

By mid-show, I started channel surfing. By the end, I was mad that I could have watched Waitress on Pay-per-view. Now that it's a new day, I am thinking that maybe it was the theme because I only liked 2 out of the 12 girls last night - Ramielle and Amanda, and that surpised even me.

I was not impressed with any of the women. It was rather boring. I have to agree with Simon where no one came out and really wowed the judges. The one blond that had the burgundy dress with the silver sequined straps-did you see the 'attitude' at the end when Ryan was talking. That right there, stuck-up , spoiled brat attitude, was an instant turn off for me.

Hopefully next week will be better. I am putting these bad performances all around to the forced 60's choices.

i'm very surprised that Simon actually liked that. i didn't think he would. but i'm actually really happy he did. Amanda just seems like a cool girl, and i like her style of voice. but most people who watch Idol don't like that type of music, Taylor Hicks/Jordin Sparks, anyone? aaaaaand.....where are they now?? hmm......

I don't know where Taylor is, but Jordin Sparks has two hit songs on the radio right now.

I totally agree. I can't believe she got so mad at Ryan for mispronouncing it.

As Papa Deuce said waaay back a bunch of pages, the best songs of the 60s were Motown...why oh why didn't we hear more Motown? Especially from the Girls? Last night dragged on so bad, even my DS9, who is watching AI for the first time as a "privilege", went to bed at 9:00! And it's school vacation week, so he really could have stayed up later! Booorrrinng!

Amanda is the only performer who has me even remotely excited about this season. Her song, Baby Please Don't Go is one of the coolest songs ever, but not American Idol material. That's good. She needs to stay, for real. :thumbsup2

That cracked me up! I can relate - DS would watch CSPAN if he were allowed to stay up late to watch tv. So it says a lot about the boring girls that your kiddo quit at 9pm. Let her watch Lost tomorrow night - that'll keep her awake

wasn't impresses with any of the girls last night.

I know it has been brought up in past seasons but why is Paula still on this show??? She adds absolutely no value what so ever.

Sure Ms. Paula Rehabdul has value, it's just street value...

I have absolutely nothing good to say about last night so I won't say anything today.

Looking forward to tonight's elimination.

Paula seems totally different from the audition rounds. She's having trouble just getting coherent words out. And why does *she* get to ramble on and on and on and on and...
oh yeah, on and on andonandonandon and ON, yet when Simon has something to say *both* Randy and Paula interrupt and run roughshod over his comments. I am also getting TIRED of every single stinkin' time the judges (but mostly Simon) have something the least bit negative to say about a performance, that singer's fans in the audience boo. These performers don't need unstinting praise from their family and friends *anymore*. They need constructive criticism, they ALL have a LOT to learn, especially judging by their performances the last two nights :scared1: . Not a single female singer last night really impressed me and VERY few of the men.

Oh yeah, anyone want to start a pool on how many times tonight Seacrest will say something along the lines of...
"THIS is the most TALENTED group of contestants EVER!"

Judging by last night?... :lmao: Hoo-boy, that's a good one :rotfl2: .
agnes!

My thoughts:

Alaina – at least she sang a song I liked.

Amanda – that was just weird. What song was that?!

Amy – just awful.

Alexandréa – seemed like the song suited her.

Asia’h – good stage presence, but what was up with the breaks in her voice?

Is there anyone whose name doesn’t start with “A”??

Oh – Brooke & Carly. They need a stylist, they both just looked so old.

Carly – Eh. Simon, I applaud you! :thumbsup2 Not worth all the hype. And does anybody know why she pushed Ryan away after her performance? Did he get a little too close?? :confused3

Isn't Carly one of the sick ones? Maybe she didn't want to get Ryan sick?
