I just wanted to say that I have developed a somewhat unhealthy obsession of watching/rewatching David Cook's "Hello". I hope Lionel Ritchie releases it.
David C. wasn't really on my radar screen until after he made the top 24. I can't wait to hear what he does this week.

I now think he is definitely the dark horse in the competition. It doesn't matter though if he wins (and probably better if he doesn't) but at least he'll be around for awhile.

As far as those who left this week, I really thought that Danny and As'iah would be around a while longer but as Simon says, "does it really matter" in the long run?

And I'm stupidly watching/rewatching Jason C's "Hallelujah" .... Both he and David C weren't anywhere in my thoughts until the last two shows, I like them BOTH now!

I know I'm old enough to be Jason's grandmama but I think he's darling. I love his uniqueness and his voice is sweet like he is. Hope he goes far with his career.

I really don't get Simon... he'll be vulnerable without the guitar?! Isn't playing an instrument a GOOD thing? I don't even take musicians seriously unless they play their own instruments... I LOOVEEEEEEEE David' voice! And aside from his horrible emo hair, I do think he's cute

Oh, and I looked him up on imdb.com and he was on The Bold and the Beautiful for 29 episodes last year.

He actually was pretty good. He played a record producer. He was a love interest for one of the "Forrester" granddaughter. Classic story rocker dude, innocent rich girl.

I totally understand why you might have this opinion.
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't particularly like singers who "hit" big notes, though. I am a huge Sheryl Crow fan, I like Ingrid Michaelson, Sarah McLaughlin. I guess it depends what style music you like. Not everybody likes a "Mariah Carey" or Whitney. Besides, I think Brooke is likeable.

Sheryl Crow and Sarah McLaughlin have twice the vocal range that Brooke has. It's not a realistic comparison.
