Have to say, I agree with you on a lot of Disney-related stuff.Norway is one of the most awesome stops on the WS tour. I'm glad to hear Landon enjoyed Maelstorm, I wouldn't thought someone so young would like drops. It sounds like you have a future thrill ride junkie on your hands!
I can't wait til Landon is forty inches! I bet he will love roller coasters. He's so funny, whenever he falls down and I rush over to pick him up, he always just giggles and gets back up himself.
Hi Kate! I just picked up your TR yesterday and I'm all caught up. Your family is just adorable and your writing style is so sweet and funny.
I'll go ahead and admit that I'll probably just follow the links and I'll miss a lot of the conversation, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm here and looking forward to reading more.![]()
Hi! Thanks for posting! I understand about using the links. That's what they are there for.

You got some really beautiful pictures of Norway, and I have to tell ya, I could live at the Kringla! They have GREAT lattes, and snacks!
Mexico is a fun way to spend a little while too. I doesn't surprise me that the boys loved the Donald Duck ride.
I think you'd be surprised at the menu at Akershus. We had a VERY yummy meatloaf like meal there, and the salmon sandwich is fabulous. The salad buffet does have herring in sour cream, but most of the stuff on it is pretty normal, like cheeses and fruit and macaroni salad.
It was such a lovely day, the pictures couldn't help but be beautiful.

It is interesting that the only two rides in World Showcase are right next door to each other. Mexico and Norway are definitely the most kid-friendly countries.
The salmon sandwich does sound good, and I'd even be willing to give herring in sour cream a go. On a side note- is it true that they eat shuzhuk in Kazakhstan?
I run to try and balance out my natural lazinessI agree the best thing about Disney is the every current moment you are there, and then coming home planning for a new trip, and going again!!
I have always wanted to try a princess breakfast, you guys should do it!!
Unless, of course, the current moment is that moment when you see the See You Real Soon sign and it is all over. That's the worst moment.
Jeremy and I will go someday. I would hate to subject the boys to lipstick kisses.

Loving your trip report. My family will be returning to Disney this spring with two todllers (ages 1 & 3), two pregnant mommies, and two daddies to keep things fun. We may not hit every park (which will be a scary first for me.) What ones have been the best/ most fun for Carter? By the way, your boys are just too cute!!
Wow, two toddlers and two pregnant mommies! I'd definitely include an afternoon nap!

The worst park for Carter is definitely DHS. Rides like the Great Movie Ride and Backlot tours are too long and slow to keep his attention. He doesn't like any of the shows either. So he's basically left with Honey I Shrunk the Playground, which he likes, but Jeremy and I tire of quickly or Toy Story Mania, which is difficult because of the long lines and scarcity of Fastpasses.
All the other three parks are great for Carter. There is plenty of things that we can all do and he has always has a good time. Probably the Magic Kingdom is his favorite, but Epcot and Animal Kingdom are good for him, too.
Question...do you know the exact name of the caramel bars? I want to be sure I get one in June! I have a norweigian sweater (I got mine at a Scandinavian shop near my house). It's lovely!!! I hear you on the norweigian food. I'm Swedish and have to suffer through traditional food at christmas. I douse most in ketchup, which is scoffed at by the "elders" of my family.
"Werther's Chewy Caramel Bar". It was the chewy that threw me off. I expected it to be the sort of chewy that sticks to your teeth and requires ten minutes of chewing.
I always think a Norwegian sweater must be really warm since it is so cold in Norway! There were a few days on our trip I was very tempted to buy one.
