Beautiful sunny day here so my DD decided to take my granddaughter outside after school and run around in the yard with their dog.. That's a VERY good thing - she (DD) hasn't felt like doing things like that for quite some time now..

So - they're tossing a stick around for the dog to fetch.. Well - my granddaughter tossed it towards my DD.. DD bent down to get it at the same time that the dog arrived to fetch it and the dog's tooth caught my DD's eyebrow/eyelid area and sliced it open!! She says she doesn't think it needs stitches and she cleaned it out well (yes - the dog has all his shots) but geeeeezzzz..

I say wrap her up in bubble wrap and duct tape her to the couch from now on!!!!!!

i do have to say...i was listening to the radio the other day...and heard that song, paint me a birmingham...i giggled the whole way through the song cuz all i heard was "paint me a burning ham"!

Just and FYI. I saw this post here at work, so I went to our back room and got a piece of bubble wrap and now I'm POP POP POPING it like crazy.

Hope she doesn't need stiches.

Forget wrapping her in the bubble wrap - just get her a big sheet of the really big bubble wrap and let her jump up and down on it - that popping sound used to be a real stress reliever for me!!!!!
