That Pirate Stole My Tiara: The Pre-Trip Report

Yesterday's rather exciting :hyper: change in resort/date plans meant only one thing:

(cue Charleston Princess' Indiana Jones Temple of Doom soundtrack)

ITINERARY CHANGES!!!

I was simply dreading having to play around and make changes in my 7-tab Disney planning Excel spreadsheets.

...

Welcome to SARC101: Introduction to Sarcasm-Of Course That’s What I Meant
My name is Professor Tinkerbellarella and you have just experienced sarcasm.
Paper due next week.

However, even though I didn't mind having to play around with my itinerary to help accommodate the resort-holiness that is a stay at the Poly, I was a wee (!) bit worried about messing with my ADRs. See, one of the things that I had been totally excited about was that I had gotten every single restaurant and time I was hoping for BEFORE the crush of the Free Dining promo. I really wasn’t looking forward to having to hold for 80 minutes just to get Carson and be told the only place I can have dinner on 9/24/08 is at the Taco Bell outside of Downtown Disney at 11:25 p.m. because I can no longer make it to my ADR at the San Angel Inn that evening.

But really, what choice did I have? In retrospect, the changes weren’t huge ones; I really only had to swap a couple of days around, and thankfully, none of them included my coveted Kona or Le Cellier ressies.

And so, my honored Disney-planning colleagues, I present to you the updated itinerary, including more detailed dining plans. To be truthful, I don’t have any intention to change this again prior to our arrival in the World. As obsessed as I might be with planning this vacation, too much change gives me anxiety.

I’m working on that. My therapist appreciates the copays.

A thought before I begin on the itinerary – I would love to be able to show you the actual, color-coded, 8pt., Arial font, day-by-day spreadsheet in all its glory. It’s ridiculously organized. The BF would probably call it nuts. Which would be smart on his part. Because his only other option would be to call ME nuts (and that’s yours truly, not Magical Express – sometimes the abbreviations on here get to be a bit much). And the BF knows what happens when he calls me nuts. Namely, I prove his point.

I’m sorry! I’m Alice, this must be Wonderland and was that a rabbit hole I just fell into?

The whole point of that was, if I can get a print screen of the spreadsheet uploaded to Photobucket, I’ll try to share it with you.

(cue the trumpets)

The Itinerary Version 2.1 (Now with added Bonus Features!)

Saturday – 9/20/08
This is still our arrival day, however, instead of flying into Tampa and spending the night with Missy’s sister, we’re flying into MCO and heading straight to the World. I was toying with the idea of ME (this time I DO mean Magical Express), but I think I’m going to just use a car service. I used Tiffany Towncar a few years back and they were great. And they’re affordable. Depending on the cash flow situation closer to arrival, I may try to surprise Missy and spoil us rotten with a limo.

But even if it’s just a sedan, it beats sitting on top of each other on ME watching a movie without sound with a bus driver who welcomes us to Disneyland.

We’re hoping to snag a flight that will have us checking in late morning/early afternoon. We’ll leave the bag with Bell Services if the room’s not ready and then we’re going to head over to the Nikki Bryan spa at the GF for pedicures.

Oh yes, my friends, we are going to be QUEENS this trip.

We have a 6:35 p.m. ressie for O’hana that I’m looking forward to. I’ve never eaten here but have heard great things (sans comments on the noise level). It sounds a lot like a Brazilian-Rodizian restaurant. And we’re totally starting the night off with a pair Lapu Lapu’s to celebrate the fact that we survived the months approaching this much-needed vacation.

After dinner, we’ll either take turns rolling each other back to the room or make a short trip to Downtown Disney to extend our purses further to the Mouse.

Sunday, 9/21/08
After breakfast in the room, we’ll be spending our first full day at Epicot.
Aaah. Epicot. The park whose retail stores have probably received more of my yearly earnings than Tarjay.

Okay, that’s a blatant lie. But my love for Epicot (and the shopping wonders offered by the WS) is strong. The MK will always hold the most precious place in my Disney heart, but Epicot has secured second place.

We’ll likely grab a counter service lunch. I’d like to possibly try to hit up the newly refurbbed counter service in The Land since we’ve got three separate TS ressies in the WS. Gotta show Future World some food love, no?

We have a 6:00 p.m. ressie at the San Angel Inn. I heart me some Mexican food and have wanted to eat in this restaurant forever, if for naught but the atmosphere. I’ve read the bad reviews and I don’t care. Worse case scenario I figure we can request a table by the water and toss things at the people on the boat ride.

Kidding. Mostly. ;)

A big event that got rescheduled for this even is the “Drinkin’ ‘Round the World (Showcase)’ Tour, starring Nikki and Missy. We figured starting in Mexico with slushy margaritas and some sangria would be a nice way to kick things off.

I hope I can still see when Illuminations starts.

Kidding. Definitely. My responsible “mother” side, as my friends used to call it, won’t allow me to get that trashed. And besides, being hungover in the World is not on my To Do list.

Monday, 9/22/08
Today is the day.
Monday, 9/22/08 is Tonga Toast Day.
I REFUSE to cancel or reschedule this ADR. I WILL have some Tonga Toast. So help me. Because if I have to see another picture of said deep-fried, banana-stuft breakfast sweetness without being able to have shared in its delectable delights, I WILL throw something. Hard.

After stuffing ourselves past what would be prudent with breakfast foods, we’ll head directly over to MGM (NODisneyHollywoodStudios) and pitch ourselves onto the ToT and Rock n’ Roller Coaster. Or get Fast Passes. It all depends on our gastroenterological status.

Lunch will be at another CS and then we have a 5:55 ADR for the 50’s Prime Time Café.

There are evening EMHs for MGM, so depending on how we’re feeling, we’ll either catch the late showing and enjoy more leisurely touring or catch the early show and head back to the hotel to get a good night’s sleep to prepare for MNSSHP the next day.

If I know us the way I think I know us, we’ll burn the candle at both ends.

Ok, I hate to keep you hanging, but this took longer than I thought (likely because I go on and on and on and on) and I need to take a break and actually do some work so I don’t fail my Research Methods final. Maybe I’ll be able to post the rest tonight but if not, tomorrow.

More to come!

:flower3:

Just have to give a shot out to "MY GIRL" Madison. She is the Mad that makes me madjacksmom. That's awesome about the POLY.

I am FINALLY all caught up. I have to give my boss a tongue-lashing on the finer points of DISing and the fabulousness that is this trip report and told him get his big-boy pants on and call his clients back HIMSELF. Crazy attorneys.

So long as it's not a pop quiz.:teacher:

It could be the Hess Station. I hear they have wonderful chilidogs.

Aaah. Epicot. The park whose retail stores have probably received more of my yearly earnings than Tarjay.

Wow. That's saying something.

Okay, that’s a blatant lie.
Wasn't that our agreement, brutal honesty.
I think you added the "brutal." - What's that from????

What fun!! Throw something for me! I would really like to eat there but my husband's constitution is a little weak. His declaration of independence is spot-on, though. And the Canadian bathrooms are just too far away. Are they finished with the detox on those, by the way?

Great pre-trip report! Can't wait for more! :thumbsup2

Hey there! Thanks for the joining our club. The password is: butterscotch.

I'm so happy for you that you got the Poly! Your going to just love it. I haven't been there since I was a kid, and still keep wishing I could afford to stay there.

That's great about the dining too!

Thanks! You know, it's a whole 24 hours later and I still can't believe it. It's sinking in very slowly.

Hey, great report so far!!! I can't wait for the rest!:goodvibes

Hi and thank you! Glad you're enjoying it. We like to have fun on this thread.

Thanks for the toss back.

Hopefully a "toss back" is not like tossing one's cookies.

Finally, I asked her where she heard it and she said "you know on Scrabble, when the guy says 'who won the toss backstage?'":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ah. Much better than cookie tossing.

When I was a wee lass and my sister was an even weeer lass

Wee and weeer! I LOVE it!

You've seen GWTW but don't know the Breakfast Club? Movie filled with 80s teenage angst? Brat Pack? If it doesn't ring any bells, you must rent it. Must, must, must. Then you'll get the Bender reference. :thumbsup2

I totally get it now. I am hanging my head in complete and utter shame. I may never be able to post here again. Oh the humiliation. I have been captured in a web of my own making.

Ok, you can use a Get Out of Jail Free Card on this one. TK, call off the dogs.

I want in on this one!

Holy Carp! Is that THE PrincessV posting on MY pretrippie?! Welcome little oyster. ;)

I'll be back...

Ok Aahnold.

Just have to give a shot out to "MY GIRL" Madison. She is the Mad that makes me madjacksmom. That's awesome about the POLY.

Seriously! I'd like to put her firstborn through college she made me so happy!

I have to give my boss a tongue-lashing on the finer points of DISing and the fabulousness that is this trip report and told him get his big-boy pants on and call his clients back HIMSELF. Crazy attorneys.

Do you work for ZZUB?!?! He's all about big boy pants!

It could be the Hess Station. I hear they have wonderful chilidogs.

Hey, maybe I can lure LaLa over here with that one. :rotfl:

Wasn't that our agreement, brutal honesty.
I think you added the "brutal." - What's that from????

Seriously. I feel like I should know this...like it's on the tip of my tongue...but I just...can't...grasp.........
...
Ok. I give.

What fun!! Throw something for me!

Roger, roger.
(Oooh, that could be a veiled one for you, but it could also be in any movie featuring the Air Force, so I'll just out and out tell you I was thinking that in my best Star Wars Episodes I-III droid voice.)

Seriously. I feel like I should know this...like it's on the tip of my tongue...but I just...can't...grasp.........
...
Ok. I give.

Whew. And the ref takes a point away and I'm back in the game.

That was Jerry McGuire right before Kelly Preston decks TomKat.

I totally get it now. I am hanging my head in complete and utter shame. I may never be able to post here again. Oh the humiliation. I have been captured in a web of my own making.

The only thing I was coming up with was when Colonal Jessop on the witness stand in A Few Good Men; and TomKat saying "crystal."

Alright...all is forgiven...I have called back the hounds. :rotfl:

I just think my DH and I love that particular scene so much, it sticks with us.

You want another one? That's two more right there...I'll have the rest of your Saturdays...yadda, yadda. It's good 80s stuff, man. :)

:::THUD:::

And now that I've stepped off my soapbox...;)

Great installment! I am loving your plans, especially the lapu lapu. I had to have DH help me finish mine last year. How many different ways can we say lightweight?;) But it was gud.

Still trying to figure out how to infiltrate some part of your plans so my Captain Jack can meet your Captain Jack or some such thing.

Keep the good stuff comin'!:thumbsup2

And another thing...I am such a geek...ahem, I mean so chic :lmao:

that I got the roger, roger reference without reading further. Could it help that those were just on tv? Do you and I watch the exact same things? To think of the possibilities...perhaps we should coordinate our very own showings of Pirates 1,2, and 3...is that too much? :lmao:

Whew. And the ref takes a point away and I'm back in the game.

That was Jerry McGuire right before Kelly Preston decks TomKat.

OH! YES! And now I know why I couldn't remember that. I'm trying to forget TomKat exists. Xenu scares me.

You want another one? That's two more right there...I'll have the rest of your Saturdays...

Can I eat?
I dunno. Give it a try.

Best. 80's. Bratpack. Movie. Ever.

Labyrinth is tied with Legend for my favorite 80's fantasy movie, with Labyrinth in the lead at the moment. Yes, even ahead of Neverending Story.

I am loving your plans, especially the lapu lapu. I had to have DH help me finish mine last year. How many different ways can we say lightweight?;)

Look up lightweight in the dictionary. That's me waving back at you.

Still trying to figure out how to infiltrate some part of your plans so my Captain Jack can meet your Captain Jack or some such thing.

Well, I'm hoping my plans don't change too much from here on out so maybe we can finagle something. When are you planning on leaving on the 21st?

I got the roger, roger reference without reading further. Could it help that those were just on tv? Do you and I watch the exact same things? To think of the possibilities...

I've never seen all of Episode III. BF dvr'd it for me the other night and it's sittin' there waiting for me. On TNT or SPIKE or one of those this past weekend, right? I can't remember if you've ever said...are you on the East Coast or in New England?

The New Hope series is next weekend...which...(another embarassing admission ahead)

I have never seen. That's right. I, Tinkerbellarella, have never seen any of the original Star Wars.
::sigh::
I might as well just get it all out on the table here tonight. I have also never seen:
any of the Indiana Jones movies (I may have just made Charleston Princess throw up her Indy M&Ms. Sorry.)
The Sound of Music
Gone with the Wind
Casablanca
Miracle on 34th Street
Sixteen Candles
Pretty in Pink
any of the Godfathers

I'm sure there are more but I'm going to crawl under that rock over there right now. :rolleyes1

Hack! Hack! Hack! That's me dislodging an Indy M&M from my throat. ;)

I won't abandon you, because you obviously need "saving" in the film area of your life! :rotfl:

First order of business: you must watch the original Star Wars trilogy. You will find a kindred spirit in Princess Leia.

Second order of business: Watch the first and third Indiana Jones' -- the second is the pits and not worth wasting your time watching.

Third: Others have weighed in on The Sound of Music.

Fourth: I am a Southerner, my birthday is the same day as Vivien Leigh's, and I know every word, every scene, and every costume change in GWTW. One of the best lines ever: "Oh, Scarlett, can't help it. Men just naturally flock to her." A must-see. Oh, and Rhett...he's from Charleston.

Fifth: Casablanca -- iffy, at best. I think too much of a big deal is made of it. But I think the same thing about Titanic (too much fuss) and I know others would disagree.

Sixth: Never saw Pretty in Pink or Sixteen Candles (my mother said I was too young). Also have never seen Miracle on 34th Street -- I like my Christmas movies with a heavy dose of sarcasm and ribald humor (i.e. Bad Santa, Christmas Vacation, and The Ref).

Seventh: The Godfather movies -- they're guy movies. But I think you have to see them just because so many of the images and scenes have become iconic. Not to mention the theme music. -- you have to watch it for the theme music.

Whew! Sorry. Films and me, we're like this (crossing my fingers)!

Just a quick note to say I am loving the report and, get this, I have subscribed to my first trip report EVAH! You should feel the specialness in
5...4...3...2...1

You're feeling, it aren't you?

Alright, I'll admit it. I too, have not seen Casablanca or all three Godfathers. I committ myself to club of those who must join in shame. For shame I say, for shame. ;) In my defense, however, I currently possess all three Godfathers and am halfway through the first one, so I am taking baby steps. :)

I'm still loving reading this report. It sounds like your trip is going to be so much fun! Can't wait to hear more.

You want another one? That's two more right there...I'll have the rest of your Saturdays...yadda, yadda. It's good 80s stuff, man. :)

You mess with the bull, you'll get the horns.

I love the 80s (part deux)!

Girrrrlll....we need to have a serious talk!:)

We've already had our Sound of Music talk so you know where I stand there, and I will let Charleston Princess deal with you over Indiana. Though I enjoy #2 only because of Short Round..."Dr. Jones, Dr. Jones" and the classic dinner scene where Indiana is treated to a rare delicacy....;)

But Star Wars...this may be even worse! I did get a chuckle though when you wrote, "Roger, Roger" because I knew you had watched the Spike Tv marathon  Don't worry, I was down in PA watching with you. Since you haven't seen the "real" Star Wars movies yet, prepare to be amazed....much better than the prequels...Empire Strikes Back is the best of the six IMHO.

Now onto what could be a girls only autracity (I'm pretty sure that means bad, very bad, even if it's not spelled right) Sixteen Candles and Pretty in Pink!!!! I think I can say with all honesty that BF will have no interest in these two, but if for some chance he does, you know he's a keeper for this fact alone.:lmao:

You need to get your BFF's together and watch these movies. Who didn't fall in love with Jake Ryan. He may be the hottest higher schooler I've ever seen....he sure didn't go to mine! :rotfl: You will meet him, Farmer Ted, Long Duck Dong and laugh and cry through THE BEST 80's chick flick...am i right girls?

As for Pretty in Pink, you will never look at John Cryer in Two and a Half Men the same every again...I'm hoping since this list didn't include St. Elmo's Fire you've seen that one...but if not, add that to your list because it's the last of the Brat Pack movies.

Okay, done with rant. You better get busy because you and Blockbuster are about to become really good friends.:goodvibes

I won't abandon you, because you obviously need "saving" in the film area of your life! :rotfl:

:goodvibes I love me some movies, I really do! But I haven't always, so I have lots of catching up to do. I trust all of you DISers to properly school me.

First order of business: you must watch the original Star Wars trilogy. You will find a kindred spirit in Princess Leia.

Since you haven't seen the "real" Star Wars movies yet, prepare to be amazed....much better than the prequels...Empire Strikes Back is the best of the six IMHO.

Check, check and check. They are on SPIKE this weekend and I will be DVRing them.

Second order of business: Watch the first and third Indiana Jones' -- the second is the pits and not worth wasting your time watching.

Will do. Although I'll likely watch all three. My anal side won't allow me to watch them and skip one. OCD anyone?

Third: Others have weighed in on The Sound of Music.

I'm on it.

On the list. I promise. Just for you, dearest Southern Belle.

Fifth: Casablanca -- iffy, at best. I think too much of a big deal is made of it. But I think the same thing about Titanic (too much fuss) and I know others would disagree.

This one will be relocated further towards the bottom of the list to make room for Indy.

Roger, roger.

I'm hoping since this list didn't include St. Elmo's Fire you've seen that one

:sad2:

Added to the list. I'm running out of paper here.

I like my Christmas movies with a heavy dose of sarcasm and ribald humor (i.e. Bad Santa, Christmas Vacation, and The Ref).

Why is it I don't see A Christmas Story on this list???

You'll shoot you're eye out.

::yes::

Welcome and I'm honored to be the first ever trip report you have subscribed to.

Please note: I cannot be held responsible if by the end of said report you require the services of a good psychiatrist.

I'm still loving reading this report. It sounds like your trip is going to be so much fun! Can't wait to hear more.

The love continues. We pirates must stick together. It's in the Code.

You mess with the bull, you'll get the horns.

Thank GOD I have all of you good DISers looking after my cinematic edumacation!

This morning has been rather, ahem, challenging. Without getting WAY off topic here and angering the Moderator Gods/Goddesses (where are they, anyway? OhMari? Hello? I'm trying to be a good PTR writer by keeping my PTR (mostly) on-topic because I don't envy your job))...

ANYWAY, moving beyond my sidetracks, flagrent elipses use, and parens within parens...

Today. Challenging. I'm working with my therapist on things such as stress, anger, fear and personal outlook. That's why I'm saying that today's been a challenge and not going with my first reaction of, "Today SUCKS." Work is just...argh, today. So, I'm taking some ME (NOBusWithFiveStopsBeforeMyResort) time and continuing with the Itinerary2.1 for y'all while listening to "Promise" on MouseWorld Radio on Live365.

I believe when we last left off, Missy and I were returning from a night at the Studios to prepare for:

Tuesday, 9/23/08
Today is MK and MNSSHP day. And with the MK open until midnight, it's going to be a long one.
We'll probably eat in the room and aim for the park by 10 a.m. At some point I will consume either a Dole Whip or a Dole Whip Float. I love me some pineapple juice, for sure. But normally I'm not fond of fruit flavored dairy. I will not eat yogurt with fruit on the bottom (but I will eat regular yogurt). I like sorbet, but I'm only just now sloooowly working my way into fruit-flavored ice creams and frozen yogurts. I'm in a quandry. Nothing's fine, I'm torn. (NONatalieImbruglia).

(Sorry, apparently I have a thang for working lyrics in here too, or so I've noticed.)

My other three MUST DO's are to ride the new and improved HM and PotC and to accost, tie down and hold for TK's safekeeping, ahem, I mean take a picture with/of Capn' Jack Sparrow.

We'll do a CS lunch because we have some important dinner plans - namely cheddar cheese soup, pretzel bread and some steak that comes from a happy place, not a cow at Le Cellier. The ressie is at...carp. I don't have my actual itinerary in front of me, but I think it's at 5:15 p.m.

I'm considering scalping this ressie on the DIS. I could probably make enough money to finance next year's trip.

After dinner we're going to stop back at the resort to freshen up and transform ourselves into pirates for MNSSHP. Our goal is to be back at the gates by 7:30ish. We shall then leave most of the trick o' treating to the little ones who will be much cuter than we are and do some ridin' and parade watchin'. I'm very excited about seeing the Headless Horseman.

I'm hoping we can last the night. I want as much time in the MK as possible. Even if it means putting Missy on my back and trekking around for every last second of the party. The MK is my favorite park. Period. And anyone who reads CampbellScott's Meanest Stepmom trippie knows that Period, means that's it, end of story, you're wrong and I'm right, neener neener neener. Period.

Wednesday, 9/24/08
We've got the AK scheduled for today. And thankfully, they have evening EMH scheduled there for this day, since I think we'll likely have a late start after such a late night.

Today's ADR also happens to be an OOP meal at the Rainforest Cafe at the AK, so there will be no crazy running around to make an ADR in another location. This was actually a nice change from the previous version of the itinerary.

I will not leave the park without multiple trips on Everest. As I mentioned before, the last time I was there, it wasn't even a mountain yet, just a pile of dirt and some rebar behind a construction wall teasing me on my way to what was then still Tarzan Rocks. (I wonder what the Tarzan CM and his ab-aliciousness is doing now?) Missy got to ride EE last year and proclaims its glory every time I mention the trip. I think she's got a thing for the Yeti.

After heading out of the AK, the plans for the night are to hit up Pleasure Island for a drinkin'/dancin' rally. We might need to postpone it until Thursday, though, if we're still beat from the night before. We'll see, the schedule from here on out is pretty flexible.

Thursday, 9/25/08
Otherwise know as, "I'm Finding A Hammock To Sleep In Today".
This is our "down" day at the resort. Sleep in. Sneak in another Tonga Toast foray via Captain Cook's. Lounge by the pool. Unless, of course, we're unable to tear ourselves away from another day at the parks. If that's the case, your guess is as good as mine in terms of what we'll end up doing. I'm just trying to schedule some time so that we don't want to take separate planes home. Too much park time between adults can do that to you. Especially when you're sans children, yet surrounded by thousands of the cute little moppets.

The only "set" thing we have for today is our 6:00 ressie (again, I think that's the time) at Tutto Italia. Which, after seeing a picture of the parmesean/prosciutto/pea/linguini dish over on the food porn thread, I'm VERY MUCH looking forward to. I'm thinking that afterwards we'll either:
a.) catch Illuminations if we missed on the drinking tour night
b.) head to PI if we forewent (I made that up, FYI it's MY past tense of forego) it the night before
or
c.) go and buy approximately $7,648.39 worth of stuff we don't need from World of Disney in order to properly lament the fact that we'll be checking out the next day. I also MUST have something from Goofy's Candy Co., so if we haven't made it to DTD earlier in the week it will be a must do for this night.

Friday, 9/26/08
Check-out Day.
I'm sad.
We're going to sleep in and have a later breakfast (read: re-visit Cap'n Cooks. Again. I plan to be properly Tonga'd out by the end of the trip) and be ready to check out by 11:00 a.m.
I'm sadder.
The plan is to have Missy's sister pick us up and to head to Sea World with her and her fam for the day. If she can't join us, then we'll likely check our bags at Bell Services, head there for the day ourselves and then return to the resort later on for pick-up. We'll be spending the night in Tampa.

Saturday, 9/27/08
Spending time with Missy's family and their gorgeous outside-yet-enclosed-from-the-FL-paleolithic-sized-bugs pool.

Sunday, 9/28/08
Departure day.
Now I'm really sad.
All I have to say is that we'll likely be taking the latest flight home that we can.

So, there you have it. The complete Itinerary Version 2.1. I'm pleased with it.

And hungry.

:flower3:

The MK is my favorite park. Period. And anyone who reads CampbellScott's Meanest Stepmom trippie knows that Period, means that's it, end of story, you're wrong and I'm right, neener neener neener. Period.

Nanny, nanny, boo, boo. Stick your head in ......

I'm so bummed. My trip is not for another 180ish something, way too long, many days away. I still can't make my ADRs and TGM still has not posted his least busy park days. So, I've hurried up just to wait.

And I'm living vicariously through your plans.

OH! YES! And now I know why I couldn't The New Hope series is next weekend...which...(another embarassing admission ahead)

I have never seen. That's right. I, Tinkerbellarella, have never seen any of the original Star Wars.
::sigh::
I might as well just get it all out on the table here tonight. I have also never seen:
any of the Indiana Jones movies (I may have just made Charleston Princess throw up her Indy M&Ms. Sorry.)
The Sound of Music
Gone with the Wind
Casablanca
Miracle on 34th Street
Sixteen Candles
Pretty in Pink
any of the Godfathers

I'm sure there are more but I'm going to crawl under that rock over there right now. :rolleyes1

It's so funny that you posted this. At my full time job we were discussing the Star Wars movies and out of a dept. of 8 people I am the only person who has seen even one of the Star Wars films. I was utterly shocked as I've seen them all more times than I can count.

Have to admit I've seen most of the above ones countless times too. I've never seen Casablanca though or the last Godfather movie. I just saw the other ones for the first time a few years ago when they released it back to the theaters My guy friends couldnt' beleive I had never seen them. I ended up really loving them, but I tend to like "guy" movies more than "chick flicks" most of the time anyways. Not including my love of 80's films. Pretty in pink was definitely a fav, but I was always rooting for Duckie.

I'm just dying to see the new Indy movie this year!

At some point I will consume either a Dole Whip or a Dole Whip Float. I love me some pineapple juice, for sure. But normally I'm not fond of fruit flavored dairy. I will not eat yogurt with fruit on the bottom (but I will eat regular yogurt)

I'm still undecided about this whole Dole Whip thing. Here's a shocker for you, you jamba juice loving New Englander.....I just had my first ever smoothie 2 weeks ago.:scared1:

So should I follow the advice of what I'm pretty sure are thousands of DIS Dole Whip loving fans and try it or go with the Mickey Bar instead. From the girl who's nickname was chocolate when she was little, I think I'm leaning towards Mickey.
