Yes, I am okay with it all because it has all been slanted and blown out of proportion. Obama was 8 years old when Ayers was involved in his anti-war activities. His only association with Ayers since has been on boards for organizations to promote education (whether they were successful or not is not the issue). Obama had nothing to do with Ayers anti-government activities.
I agree that I don't like what went on in Obama's church. But, I must say that I attended a church for many years with a pastor that I didn't really like. It was only after he refused to perform the marriage ceremony for a mixed race couple that I finally left the church. Sometimes, we get caught up in organizations that turn out to be out of line with our views. It can take awhile to figure that out. Obama has publicly announced that he is no longer a member of that church and does not condone Rev Wright's behavior.
If we want to bring up past issues on the candidates, McCain isn't exactly clean. I'd rather not go there.
As for the war comments, I'm afraid too much of that is true. I don't blame our soldiers. I fully support our troops. They are caught in a horrible position. I blame our leaders who have put them there. I don't believe we should be in Iraq. If we weren't there, the possibility of
our troops killing innocents wouldn't exist.
So...let me just make sure I'm hearing you correctly??? You believe that my hero, and my godson is killing innocents? Keep your damn support. If that is the what you believe him to be doing - He honestly doesn't need or want any "support" like that.
