That Foo's Boo Is Incredible!!! - Jan 14 TR *THE END 7/19 Pg. 51*

HAHA I remember getting cut off during wishes. I had no idea that you could hear me on the phone..... My end was like...........Silent:lmao:

Great updates! Lol at the Dory-esque short term memory loss. My mum is like that too. Ooh that salmon looks good. And nice hat! I remember the IG picture of you doing that race in it. Celebrate the Magic is just the best. Apart from DLP's 'Dreams!'. Looking forward to the next instalment.

He's so like Dory with that, it's absolutely ridiculous! We cannot trust him to order anything. It has to be written down.

The salmon is really good! I highly recommend it.

Yup, I did totally post that race picture on IG!

I didn't get a chance to see DLP's 'Dream' and I kind of regret that. :sad1:

HAHA I remember getting cut off during wishes. I had no idea that you could hear me on the phone..... My end was like...........Silent:lmao:

It was funny. You were so loud!

I'm kinda wondering if Popadon is just smart enough to know how to get out of ordering for other people. He is a sly one. Because I'm not going to lie. If I was given that order, I'm ordering a number 3 and then I'm done, lol.

Haha, I used to get serious deja vu on Katt's multiple TR's when they'd both have Lion King updates. Like what are the odds? :rolleyes1

Bahaha, I get such a kick out of TR's. It really does look like... we ate... then... we ate...

But I do adore the CHH. One of my fav Disney QS options for sure; Not to mention Haunted Mansion view seating.

Yup I guess the curtain over Buzz would be the proper thing. It would be a little spooky to see him just frozen.

Haha, the ride photo actually makes it look like Kermit is riding.

Aww Danielle I love your Celebrate photos. I will never forget seeing that Frozen section for the first time (or the second time, or third)...

See we do have so much in common. Not only creative accountants (probably in more ways than one, lol) but we totally drop our dessert containers on the ground.

I love her! She is the decal on my computer and she holds the apple! I didn't know she came in a sweatshirt. I totally have to have that. To match my computer!

I love that salmon meal at CHH. It's really good! :thumbsup2

Sorry your mom had a relapse but at least you tried to show her the fireworks.

Great castle shots!

Your PP on Buzz is too funny! I have never seen Buzz covered by a shroud. How distressing!

Love your hat.

Funny updates!

I have just salivated my way through all your food pics! That Blueberry cupcake looks so good!

I love how your parents dress up and show their Disney side like you!

I think you should make a "how to" youtube video on how to score so high on TSM and Buzz!

Ha ha, I love that your TR is like a meeting ground for creative accountants! :lmao: I will say that it always surprises people that I went to college for TV/Film production and wanted to write sitcoms for a living (you were drawing at 15 and I was writing scripts).

Anyway, great updates! That cupcake sounds delicious right now! (well, either of the cupcakes in your update, actually!) Love the streetmosphere people with the texting guy! :rotfl2: And, yes, that would be a good gig for you!

Too bad that your mom wasn't feeling well again. That was nice of you to try to FaceTime Wishes to her, though! :thumbsup2

Love Celebrate the Magic! Really enjoyed that show and it's just amazing what they can do on the castle!

That sounds like a fun moment on CoP! I bet Pop was proud to get a good line in at the right time to get the crowd roaring! :woohoo:

Oh believe me. He's a sneaky one. I wouldn't put it past him at all.

Haha, I used to get serious deja vu on Katt's multiple TR's when they'd both have Lion King updates. Like what are the odds? :rolleyes1

As I was typing this one I totally realized that the parks were overlapping in both of my TR's and it made me laugh. It indicates that I go to Disney far too much. :lmao: Although we know there's no such thing.

Bahaha, I get such a kick out of TR's. It really does look like... we ate... then... we ate...

Especially when there are breaks thrown in to the update! I was like wait.....there was a good span of time between these eatings!

But I do adore the CHH. One of my fav Disney QS options for sure; Not to mention Haunted Mansion view seating.

Yup I guess the curtain over Buzz would be the proper thing. It would be a little spooky to see him just frozen.

I love that location at CHH. It's the best.

Yeah, it was definitely the best thing to do by covering him up. Otherwise I think some kids would have been traumatized. :rotfl:

That was the first time I saw the Frozen section too, so I was super excited about it. I got all emotional.

Wow...kindred spirits for sure!

I love her! She is the decal on my computer and she holds the apple! I didn't know she came in a sweatshirt. I totally have to have that. To match my computer!

I absolutely love that sweatshirt! Found it at Wet Seal over the winter. I was very excited by all of my finds.

I love that salmon meal at CHH. It's really good! :thumbsup2

Sorry your mom had a relapse but at least you tried to show her the fireworks.

Great castle shots!

That meal is one of my favorites on property. Makes me feel like I'm actually consuming something healthy.

I tried. And definitely failed to show her Wishes, but I certainly tried.

Your PP on Buzz is too funny! I have never seen Buzz covered by a shroud. How distressing!

Love your hat.

Funny updates!

I know! I had to hang my head in shame and in the end it looked like Kermit was totally riding Buzz.

I have just salivated my way through all your food pics! That Blueberry cupcake looks so good!

I love how your parents dress up and show their Disney side like you!

I think you should make a "how to" youtube video on how to score so high on TSM and Buzz!

It was really good! Very light and fresh tasting.

They do dress up and show their Disney side. My Pop is a little less obvious, but he's normally wearing his Disney polos from the resorts. :thumbsup2

Hahahaha. I could totally do that on YouTube. Although I think there are people out there that are more knowledgable than me.

Ha ha, I love that your TR is like a meeting ground for creative accountants! :lmao: I will say that it always surprises people that I went to college for TV/Film production and wanted to write sitcoms for a living (you were drawing at 15 and I was writing scripts).

I know! They're all coming out of the woodwork. That's awesome that you wanted to write sitcoms. I loved creative writing too. Never a TV or movie setting, more fiction and mystery.

Anyway, great updates! That cupcake sounds delicious right now! (well, either of the cupcakes in your update, actually!) Love the streetmosphere people with the texting guy! :rotfl2: And, yes, that would be a good gig for you!

I would love to be Streetmosphere! It would be so awesome. I just think I would have a hard time keeping a straight face sometimes. :lmao:

Since it was her first day back out in the parks, I kind of figured she would only make it part way through. But her making it part way through was better than the alternative of her staying behind again.

Celebrate the Magic is a favorite of mine. I missed it in May, but definitely am not going to miss it in November.

He was so happy he got a good chuckle and said something clever. We're very easily amused people.

Death by chocolate sounds like a pretty good way to go. :rotfl2:

I liked your Celebrate the Magic shots. Some of those are not easy to get what with the scenes changing and moving so quickly.

It's a bummer that your mom had to sit that night out again, but at least she knew not to overdo it. A few hours in DHS is better than no park time, I suppose.

My DH got the children's cheeseburger and I made him get the chocolate milk just for me. They serve the best stuff with the kid's meals. I think we need to order them more often. ;)

Cupcake question - A lot of those cupcakes come with a huge decoration - like the one that you had that looked like Mickey's Sorcerer's hat. Are those things edible?

I like to take one of those refillable mugs into the park with me. Then if I have a drink like a Foo's Brew or maybe a Grey Goose Slush, I just pour it in there and it is nice and safe from spillage - or guards at the gate who won't let you leave the park with alcohol. ;) I learned that trick from the Dis, of course.
As I was typing this one I totally realized that the parks were overlapping in both of my TR's and it made me laugh. It indicates that I go to Disney far too much. Although we know there's no such thing.
It wasn't until you mentioned the crane in the castle shot that I realized you were back in the January trip report. ;)

I love that Snow White sweatshirt. they need more Snow White gear at WDW.

I totally think you'd make a great Streetmosphere character! :thumbsup2

MK looks like a fun night...too bad you're mom wasn't feeling up to it. Your CHH spot is one of my faves! It has been a few trips since we've made it there...need to make an effort to get back! Love CoP too and your deaf comment made me crack up!!! Also the Buzz ride photo was great! :rotfl2: Awesome pics of the castle show too!

Great update... And once again your Dad cracks me up... :rotfl2: Your family needs their own show and he would be the Star and steal every scene!!! :lmao:

We had a really good place! We were pretty close to the castle. Having only two people in your group makes it really easy to get a good spot for Wishes. That and I'll totally just push my way through. That always works too. :rotfl2:

I agree, her few hours out was better than nothing at all.

I am totally a kids meal eater a lot of the time. Mainly because of serving size, especially at QS locations. If the meal isn't something that's incredibly unique, I'm not going to just get a large adult burger for the sake of an adult burger. :rotfl2:

All of the decorations are edible, but what they're made out of varies based on the cupcake. The Darth Vader one that I got in May was chocolate. The Sorcerer's hat on this one that I got on this one was some kind of fondant, which I'm not a fan of.

Hahahaha, alcohol in the refillable mugs is a great idea. :thumbsup2

They do need more Snow White gear! I got that particular sweatshirt from Wet Seal.

I totally think you'd make a great Streetmosphere character! :thumbsup2

That would be so much fun, wouldn't it! I should go audition.

It's one of my favorite spots too!

I'm just a dork that sometimes just says whatever comes to mind. It can be bad for me too though, because I can make totally sarcastic comments (that can be somewhat rude) when people make me angry too. :rotfl:

Great update... And once again your Dad cracks me up... :rotfl2: Your family needs their own show and he would be the Star and steal every scene!!! :lmao:

I should totally make a YouTube show.

I'm still a little depressed I wasn't in Disney to get the sorcerer hat cupcake. I LOVE the hat. I need it in cupcake form!

You would be fabulous as a Streetmosphere performer!

Aww, I love that pic where you and Pop are looking at the MK sign.

I love the Kermit hat!

BAHAHA I want to ride CoP with you guys. Too funny.

You got such great Celebrate the Magic pictures!

Getting LeFou's Brew is ALWAYS the right choice.

Oh noooo! The cupcake still looks delicious, though.

It's not the first time I've seen that cupcake, so I wouldn't be too upset about it. :goodvibes I think you'll get one someday.

Hahahaha, you are welcome to ride CoP with us anytime. I'm sure you'll get a laugh out of it.

I had a really great spot for Celebrate the Magic, so I was really happy with how the pictures turned out.

It was delicious. Listen, to me it doesn't matter if it doesn't look pretty anymore, it will totally still taste good.

Day 8 - Friday January 24, 2014

Alas friends. At this point we had come to our final Disney day. This trip had still been a fun one, even though poor Mom had spent a lot of her time sick and missed out on a lot of things. Because I'm an amazing daughter *cough*, I had re-figured this day so that we could get to Epcot and do a few of Mom's favorites, which she had missed out on. So the day before, I had re-organized our FP+ reservations to be at Epcot instead of where we had previously planned. I like that feature of FP+ to be honest.

It was another cold one today, so we all bundled up. I gave Mom my coat for the day, since it was heavier than anything she had brought along. For myself, I just put on the heaviest shirt I brought, and then piled another sweatshirt on top of that. Look away Kathy! Thar be Green Bay Packers ahead!

I also messed around with my makeup today and tried to do something inspired by Anna's clothing from Frozen.

We headed out at about 8:45am and drove the car to Epcot. We totally got really close parking and arrived right at 9am. The crowds seemed a bit heavier this day than they were when Pop and I had visited a few days before. It took us a while to get through security. However, I did discover (sadly after the fact), that there is a tiny security station to the left of the parking lot. Had I noticed that, I would have gone there and avoided the mass of people. But meh....what can you do, right?

Momma was all bundled up for the day and looking totally cute.

I had to get my obligatory SSE photo.

I also tried to be artsy fartsy again like I do sometimes. I normally fail, but I'll keep trying.

I couldn't resist taking pictures of Mom because she just looked so cute!!!

Our first stop was breakfast! Pop wanted some heartier breakfast today again (the man loves his breakfast), and Mom really enjoys Sunshine Seasons. Plus, our first FP+ was at Soarin', so we would be situated perfectly.

Pop and I got bounty platter.

Mom got kids french toast.

I also got hot chocolate. Has anyone noticed that the hot chocolate in the parks is better than the hot chocolate at the resorts? Because I did. At least I felt like it was. This tasted like some really good hot chocolate to me. I mean, not Dunkin Donuts level hot chocolate. Because I mean, that's an impossibly high standard, but it was really good!

After we finished our breakfast, it was time for us to use our FP+ reservation at Soarin'.

See? 10:01 on the dot.

In line, we headed in and we ended up in row 3. I could tell Mom wasn't feeling well, because she was out of it. She goes "row 3! We're at the top!"

Me: Nope Mom. We're at the bottom. Do I need to send you back to Disney school?

She may or may not have punched me in the face for that sarcasm....

Anytime I make a funny or sarcastic jab at my Mom's expense, my Pop totally starts to act like this.

Soon we were let in on the ride. I mean, row three, but it's better than nothing right?

Look a Yeti! And feet!

After that it was off to Living With the Land.

Do you wanna build a.......sandman?

Nikki I found your lemon!

Blueberry boy. Gotta love blueberry boy.

Continued in next post:

Continued from previous post:

When we got off of Living with the Land a bunch of people were passing by the ride talking about how it's just a lame boat ride.

How about I lame boat ride you in your face, you jackwagon!

I'm teasing. Only a little. I appreciate the ride for what it is. I know that some don't like it, but I do. So there.

At that point, it was time for us to use our FP+ at Imagination.

Can I tell you a secret?

Not many people know about it.

You totally don't need a FP+ for Imagination.

Shocking I know. Your mind is totally blown now, isn't it?

On our way to use our burning hot FP+ at Imagination, I stumbled across my favorite kind of animal. A Disney duck.

I just like ducks!

Soon we arrived.

Do you see the swarm of people standing outside? Whew. Good thing we had that FP+!

After we got off Imagination, I let Mom lead the way. Since she hadn't really been to Epcot yet, I figured she could make the choices. So, we just wandered into World Showcase. She knew I wanted to check out the line for Anna and Elsa, just out of curiosity.

How long was the wait today? 4 1/2 hours.

Ummmmmmmm. No. So I did what any responsible adult would do.

I did the creep from the exit.

There was no way at all that I was going to wait 4 1/2 hours. Just not happening. Thankfully, I did meet them with FP+ in May, so we're all good. There's honestly no experience in Disney or anywhere that I would wait 4 1/2 hours for. Seriously.

Mom just wanted to wander through World Showcase and enjoy herself for a while, which we were fine with.

Up next: Well that's heaven in a brioche bun.

hummm death by chocolate.. I could live with that.. well no I'd be dead, but you know what I mean ;)

Sounds like a great start to your day so far! I just cannot imagine waiting 4.5 hours for Anna and Elsa! :faint: Or really anything Disney, as you said. That is just completely crazy. :crazy2: But, you know, all those people tied up in line - that's why there's no wait for Imagination. :lmao: ;)

I think you should let your mom keep that coat, she is cute!

Pop is cracking me up with the bounty platter

Can you believe I've still never been on Figment?

And, that this past trip was my first time at the land?

Fun update :goodvibes

The Anna inspired makeup works so well! It looks kind of like stained glass. That hat is really cute. Sounds like a really good start to the day!
