That Commercial!!!

Have you all noticed that the one with the kids and parents who are too excited to sleep is the same mom and daughter (and therefore supposedly at least, the "little souvenier") from the first commercial in the elevator? I LOVE that! The big sister is telling her little brother about how there are "even more cool things now." I love that one and yeah, it makes me tear up too. I am such a goof!

Omigosh...I totally never noticed that! Good for Disney keeping the same people in their ads! I like continuity!

Everytime DD & I see that commercial. We say it. Drives DH crazy. For the last week, DD tells the baby, "7 more day till DaisneyWorld" He cracks up & grins from ear to ear. DH thinks we're corrupting him.

I LOVE that commercial! But I don't think it's the same mom and daughter.

I see that girl on the commercial and feel silly cuz Im 33 and LOOOOOOOOOVE Disney !! Lucky for me, so does my nine year old daughter!

Universal Florida looks cool but they have alot of roller caoster and I dont see how families with small children that dont meet roller coaster hight restrictions would have too many entertainment options other than stage shows (which I HATE) and mine rides.

Disney has more options to suit EVERY family member and taste. NO ONE is left out there.

Plus the atmosphere is better.

Thats one thing for sure... Disney has there MARKET for AMBIENCE!

I cant explain it but you just FEEL GOOD while your there. its rare to see anyone without a smile. Even the employees are unreal. Its as if they are trained to make each person feel like they are the only one there.

Sounds corny but I know ya'll know what I mean.

I never felt that way at ANY other amusment park and Disney is the only park that has my kids (and me) dreaming and anticipating for MONTHS before we leave.

P.S.

Ive never been to universal Florida but two years ago I infused a day at universal, Hollywood into our four day DL vacation....BOOOOOOORING!!!

I was so disappointed and regreted the two hours of LA traffic I had to fight to get there! Just abunch of stage shows and a couple of roller coasters my son was too small to ride.

Plus the travel agent had messed up on our tickets.
Disney handled it quickly as possivle and went out of their way to mke us comfortable while we waited for them to clear it up.
Universal had us wating almost THREE HOURS in the hot sun while they WENT on LUNCH BREAK for an hour then finally , looking irritaded, took there time fixing it.

will NEVER EVER EVER EVER go back.

Face it, Disney was founded on family and magic memories... IMO they can never be outdone in customer service.

My favorite Disney commercial does'nt get shown anymore. It's the one with the husband and wife , and she says he never says I love you anymore like he used to. Then he turns over and in his best Donald Duck voice says " I love you" "I love you vewy vewy much." I mis that commercial.

I liked the one from last year I think with the guy eating the ice cream cone then Cinderella walks by and he sucks his stomach in real fast. That one cracked me up!

The old Universal commercials were MUCH better.

That Universal commercial cracks me up! Not because I like it or agree with it but because of the reaction of my 2 DD's 12 & 14 every time they see it. Their faces turn red and the veins in their necks pop out ... lol! Then they go into a 10 minute speech about how Universal only wishes they were half as good as Disney and how that little girl can't be human! Then I hear how they can't wait to see the princesses when we go again in Oct. Its just so funny how much it gets them going! They have both been to Universal and liked it but nothing is ever going to compare to Disney for them! I taught them well!! The princesses & all of the other Disney characters rock!!

I hadn't seen the commercial but had read this read, no sooner had I closed it when my DD11 came stomping upstairs exclaiming, "I just saw the dumbest commercial ever!!!". I asked her was it for Universal Studios? She launched into the same spiel as your DDs. The funny thing is she's never been to US and swears she'll never go because they bashed Disney!

Well, I cannot just not STAND that commercial about Universal. It drives me absolutely nuts! I just have to tell myself that a girl who acts like a brat about princesses should be in Univeral -not ruining MY disney vacation with her whining (but it doesnt help much)
