We live in Florida and have made a number of trips to Disney but I don't think we've ever gone in January. I am planning a surprise trip for Hubby without the kids (first time in 4 years) to celebrate our anniversary in January and saw that it was their lowest in peak season. Well, I try to make reservations at All Stars and there is nothing available for the 25th-27th. So now I'm confused, is it going to be booked up busy or what????????

Did you try making a reservation with the Florida resident discount? if you did that may be what is not available.

Did you ask for any of the All stars or just a particular one?

The only thing i've tried is online on disneyworld.com, their reservation system...

Seems to me there's a problem with the reservation system at disney.com- see my thread on Grand Floridian August rates.

Try calling CRO...

The days we've found to be the least croweded at WDW are Jan 2 thru Jan 7 (ish). We leave Dec 31 for our next trip but we have reservations for Jan 10 thru 12 also. The Jan reservations were more difficult to get because of the marathon.

I wouldnt use the website to make ressies. I can get online to do that, and the resort would be BOOKED SOLID. Hubby would call the famous 407-w-disney number and get a room.

It has always been like that for some reason.

Just try calling.

Good luck and CONGRATS on your no-kids trip!!!!!!!;)
