Hey MIB999999-thanx for all the great MIB tips:D My family and I had an AWESOME time on the ride. I went from about 24,000 my first time on the ride to my top score of almost 500,000!! It was hilarious watching my DH and DS looking agog at my score after about the 3rd time on the ride, ha, ha! They begged me to let them read the hints you posted, after turning their noses up at them on the airplane. That ride is soooo addicting:p-we probably rode it about 20X during our 6 days (FOTL is GREAT!) We're now trying to figure out how to get one up here in PA, LOL. FlyFly Eclipse, you're right- those Ghostbuster boys are pretty darn CUTE!

Here. I do give kudos to the man of the hour MIB999999 for creating the guide. However we have to remember he wrote this years ago and never updated. Why should he have to if he doesn't want to. Now I know in that period of time he knows a lot more than he use to in his guide. I have updated his guide and off of another person's Chris. This is Edward's Handbook Version 3.0. This is more detailed adding a few more touches that makes the 999,999 a lot easier to get to, even maybe making that dream a reality. With my guide, I hit 999,999 everytime. You can to with the other 2 guides, but as I explained earlier, this guide is just a tad more detailed and easier. I know exactly how you feel about that ride, it is extremely addictive and you just can turn away from the ride. I love it so much. I have been on that ride a total of around 150 times, 50 of them hitting 999,999. The other 100 times were when I was a beginner and when I was figuring everything out by myself not using the guide. Actually I never knew this site where I could find the guide. So by doing so, I was able to discover my own tricks of the trade that I have the pleasure of passing down. Enjoy. :)

Yep yep yep!!! :p

I'm getting antsy waiting until I can go back and see them. LOL

dogg2727-thanx for the update! I actually printed Chris's tips out as well, so I have to thank him also. Can't wait to go back!:bounce:

What happened to that guy anyway (MIB9's)? He was one of our original party buddies down there!

Oh no problem. I am building a website that will most likely be the best guide you can possibly get into your hands. Please wait for that. Check back on this thread and I will post the website ASAP.

Hey dogg! So you are creating a Universal-based site, or just focusing on MIB? I'm working on one (focusing on ALL of Universal), but haven't got the money to get a host quite yet. Not sure the best program to create it in...Microsoft Frontpage is well, no Homestead Builder :p Kinda driving me crazy having such limitations...but I'll have to work around it.

Maybe we can become affiliates. :p lol. That would be your call.

Anyway, glad you had a great time sunni d!

Wouldn't it be great if the disboard members (universal ones, that is) arranged some kind of MIB marathon where we all go on all day for a day...or something. Could be fun.

Shoot. I wouldn't be able to participate unless The times we had it were before 11:00AM and after 5:15PM. :p

I've been wondering what happened to MIB9's and MsDisney too!!

Ok to answer Flyflyeclipse. No I am not making one on all of Univsersal. That would be so awsome, but I am not that high tech yet. Also I am a cheap b****** so the odds of me paying for the website has lost hopes. Third, I have finally completed my website. Yes it is a free one and it isn't super duper like lights and lasers fasinating, but I think I did a pretty good job. I just have one comment, I hope everyone enjoys the site because I put a lot of time into it due to my lack of website skills. I would love people to tell me what they think, but if there are negative comments poking fun of the site, please just don't say anything.

Here it is and I hope you enjoy the ultimate handbook to MIB Alien Attack. Click at the bottom to go to page 2. Thank you.

OMG! It's fantastic! I love the pictures you have included...makes it a lot easier than just reading about it...brilliant!

When I create a website, I'll put a link to yours. :)

I have had a lot of experience with building websites...but not through HTML (don't use it too much...) I use a builder where I can actually SEE things and then add an occasional bit of HTML for "extras."

It looks good dogg :) I can tell you worked hard!

Thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much. I did put a lot of effort into it. I hope Universal is kind enough to let me keep it operational. I just want to give viewers a little more than just words. This really doesn't get much better than this. I had to crop every picture because since this is a free webpage, the space is limited. I am impressed how much AOL hompage let's you do. It is very easy. When you go to page 2, that is another page I just created on AOL hompage. Then I just take the link from the second page and put it on the first page. I am happy with it. Thank you for you response and your wonderful comment.

OMG. I *just* figured out why the guy's name is MIB999999. :p Man, am I slow or what!!! I understood MIB but was like, why 9's and why that many of them??

Hey, I really hope Universal won't make you close it or anything, either. I mean, I do not see why they would because

A) You are not making profit over it...you aren't selling the tips or anything...the characters are copyrighted despite who took the pictures (thanks to Kelly M. for clearing that up for me when I began planning my website) and since you aren't making money from this, you shouldn't have any problems with the copyright

B) It wouldn't hurt their park at all...I mean, some people may go on numerous times to try to get the max score. They can't get it on the first try (unless have a very good visual memory) and so could quite possibly make a couple trips to Universal with one of the big things on their to-do list is MIB. It wouldn't hurt their business and DEFINATELY not hurt the popularity of the ride.

So because of those two reasons, I'd be quite surprised if they would make you close it. If anyone can have a website using pictures from the Universal themeparks, why would this be a problem?

You did a great job and would like to see it kept running too...that way I can learn how to get those extra points (still haven't beat my personal best of 622,000...). ;)

GREAT SITE DOG:p Kudos to you for taking the time to put together something for us neophytes! The pictures are great and really bring it all together. I had to reread the tips after I went on the ride to have it all make sense, if I'd have checked your website it would have been so much clearer. Flyfly Eclipse, an MIB marathon would be a BLAST:bounce:

Thanks DOG2727 for a great link. I've still to get all the 9's yet, but will be going in December with your guide and hope to do it this time. DH and SIL got the magic no. with MIB99999's tips, but I'd forgotten to re-read them and take them with me.

We have had so much fun on the ride. My max is 806,650 (and would you believe I missed the last 100,000 bonus which I normally ALWAYS get!). The best laugh I had was when I shared the car with a group of teenage boys (bear in mind I'm a 50+ English lady) and by the time we had finished I'd wiped the floor with them all. Their comment "boy - have you seen her score? Our guns must be broken!!"). What a cheek!

Ann.

Did you forget to press the button. Because I know a lot of times you can get the unlucky seat and when you press it, the thing doesn't work. Just to give you and idea of scores, I get roughly around 873,000 going into the green scanner with my guide. So it definetely works. Oh and thanks so much for your comments sunni d and flyflyeclipse. I need to update my site because someone notified me of some errors. Keep in mind I did this while I am sick. So yeah there needs to be some revisions. :) Let me know if you see any.

Dog - nope - I pressed the button but it didn't work. As a matter of interest does it always work just pressing the red button? I just direct the gun over the big bug's eye whilst keeping the red button pressed down! Is there a sensor on the eye, or do you think just pressing the red button gets you the bonus automatically and it's nothing to do with the eye/sensor? I thought maybe I hadn't 'scanned' the eye properly!

Ann.

Um yeah as I was saying before. The button doesn't always work due to technical problems. They are constantly changing the guns to keep them new, but every now and then there is one bad apple. If you read my strategy guide/handbook. I explain that and there is a picture where you can see it. He actually has a lot of sensors. They are very hard to see in the dark. He has about 3 on his eyelash right above his big light up eyes. There are more on his nose.

Glad you enjoyed the ride and that the handbook helped. The handbook was written to help those that have not ridden over 1,000 times like i have, to find the little secrets and have a more fun ride and get a better score with just a few rides under thier belt.

Plus MisDis kept hounding me for more info so she could finally hit 999,999.

Hey, Jag the summer is over and the crowds should be down a bit, let's all meet at Alchemy and watch a game and down a few, after a MIB SHOOT-OFF of course:smooth:

BTW: any time dog boy wants a shoot out, bring it on. it is a whole different world score wise when there is more than one person in the car that knows how to play the game.

let's put dog boy, Robert Walker, Rocketman23, and MisDis all in the same car and see who comes out on top:smooth:

Hey MIB999999, I couldn't agree with you more. It is a lot harder when more than one person in the car knows what they are doing. I went on with Chris and we both came out with 999,999 so I am more than you think I am MIB999999 ;) . Yeah I am always up to the challenge. I don't know when all of us would possibly meet at the same time, but it would be really interesting. It all comes down to if you can actually see your own laser.
