Hi All! We're planning our very first onsite trip for Thanksgiving week!!! Yea! Is it possible to find a traditional Thanksgiving meal or even semi-traditional? Or does WDW just treat the day like another day? Any ideas?

TIA...love the advice I have received on this board! You are all wonderful! :wave2:

HI, I was there this past Thanksgiving and we are going again this year. We had our Thanksgiving meal at Hollywood and Vine in MGM,They offered all types of food including turkey and fixins. We booked the Fantasmic package and it was a nice finish to our Thanksgiving Day.The fod was fairly good but we are looking to do the same thing this year at a different restaurant. Just rrmember to book early because everything fills up really quickly. There were alot of disappointed people who didn't book before going.Have Fun!

We were there this Thanksgiving and ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom and it was a perfect choice, it is a Colonial Theme restaurant and they serve a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, family style. We were seated at
a late lunch but if you get a dinner ressie, characters are there. I would
recommend the restaurant but no the Magic Kingdom on Thanksgiving day
it was a sea of people and we only stayed about 2 hours and couldn't take it anymore. I felt like we wasted a day pass but we really enjoyed the dinner.
I called at 90 days out(the earliest you could then, you can call at 180 now)
but I called at 7am on 90 days out was on hold for 55 minutes and that was the only choice I had 2:30 or 11am, dinner was full, so I agree with the previous poster call early)
