Thanksgiving Week Fireworks?

We’re contemplating a somewhat last minute trip to DLR for thanksgiving week, Sun-Thursday. What’s the likelihood of fireworks at either DL or something at DCA? What show, and what nights? I haven’t been watching post-pandemic schedules much.

I’m expecting insane crowds each day, so we are definitely on the fence. Need some help deciding if it’s worth the trip. We were thinking spring break, but I’m shocked at cheaper flights next month in comparison.

There will definitely be holiday fireworks on Sunday night. Typically during the holiday season they run fireworks nightly.

In the past, they’ve been nightly during Thanksgiving week, weather dependent.

ETA: We’ve gone every Thanksgiving (they’ve been open) for the last decade. It can get crowded, but we find it totally worth it.

Thanks a bunch! That's really helpful. We're rope droppers, so we hope that helps beat the crowds. On our one trip to DL, we were shocked at how much we could get done in the first hour or two. But that was June, not a holiday week.
