I'm planning for 2010, and right now I'm looking at going either the week of Thanksgiving or either the week of Christmas or the week between Christmas and New Year's. I realize that the week between Christmas and New Year's is going to be the busiest, but what about the week prior to? What about Thanksgiving week? Any input would be very much appreciated. Thank you! :goodvibes

Busy time for all, yes; Christmas - New Year most, week leading up to Christmas maybe bit less than Thanksgiving week. Definitely call first thing in the morning on date 11 month window opens for whatever week you decide.

Good luck :goodvibes

We were at Disney in December 2007 from December 12th - December 17th. It started out great, but the crowds were remarkably larger by the 17th when we left so I think going between Thanksgiving and Christmas will be the least crowded.

I have heard that both Thanksgiving week and Christmas week are very busy.

The week after thanks givign is perfect. We have gone three years 2005,2006 & 2008. All the christmas stuff crowds are light. We have gone in Feb and not even close. We are going this year for the last Star wars weekend and then thanksgiving week. "trying to use up ann pass" If you pick week after thanksgiving you will love it.

Thank you for the input, everyone. We went early/mid-December in 2007 and loved it (but the crowds were not heavy). Either way, I'm certainly looking forward to being back in WDW during Christmas - it was beautiful! :goodvibes

We've been twice during the week between Christmas and New Year's (2004 & 2008.) We don't have much choice because I'm a teacher and my DH has a hard time scheduling time off too far in advance for the summer. Actually I was pleasantly surprised this time. We had a lot of fun and the crowds weren't a whole lot worse than many points in the summer. We go on every ride we wanted to with good use of FP. I would gladly go back again during that week. (And probably will!!)
