Thanksgiving Meal

I'm still a couple months away from making ADRs, but there is something that is puzzling me. I am wanting turkey and dressing for Thanksgiving Day. I know if I book LTT, I'll be ok. But I'm thinking of maybe booking WCC instead--just to be able to make a stop at WL to see the tree. But how do I know when I make ADRs if WCC will be serving turkey and dressing. I know they did last year, but that doesn't mean they will this year. It seems they announce the offerings very late in the year--like a month before. But you have to already have your ADRs at that point or you're not getting in.

Ok, lightbulb moment! Would I be able to book LTT for say 12 and then WCC for 1? And then cancel one after they make the announcement?

Yes, you would be able to do that. I haven't done WCC for Thanksgiving, but last year, we did CG and had an incredible Turkey dinner. For the record-- when we booked CG at our 180-day mark (May), nothing had been "announced" yet, but the reservation was immediately marked as "Thanksgiving Dinner" as opposed to just "Dinner." I'm not sure if all restaurants do that, but it's something to look out for when your 180 day gets here! Good luck.

You can’t always go by the list. There are some restaurants on property like Boma who never make it on there but always add some Thanksgiving food so I would just stick with what you are thinking WCC so you can see the decorations.
