Thanksgiving Dinner

WS great last visit but they don't show they are dong thanksgiving! bummed!

We always go on vacation for Thanksgiving so, I've eaten at plenty of restaurants. We don't always go to Disney so, my experience is more world wide. But one year we did and we ate at Captain's Grille. I thought it was okay to good. Not excellent but had all the turkey trimmings and then, some. I liked that they served miniature type desserts so, you didn't over stuff yourself.

One place I found really consistent with Thanksgiving is Costco. So, we normally get the traditional Costco turkey breast, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, cranberry, scalloped potatoes, asparagus and a pie. Great meal. Normally, we cook it all on the first night of our trip and then, eat it all week for leftovers and sandwiches. You can generally buy everything for about $50.

we had thanksgiving at the Captain's grille last year and was not impressed at all. this yr we are eating at Thanksgiving at the fort at Mickey's Backyard BBQ The year before that I think we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern and it was your traditional Thanksgiving fare.

We love Boma at AKL.
It's a buffet so each gets to be adventurous or non as they wish.

The traditional fare is there and it's really good; but they also have some special African food too.

Good luck -- getting the reservation at just the right time is sometimes tricky!!

We have reservations at Trail's End for Thanksgiving night for our party of 12. We are coming from SSR, so plan to take bus to MK, and then boat to FW. My husband thinks we can do that in an hour. I don't think so. We've never been there on Turkey Day, is the transportation time longer on Turkey day due to crowd?
