Thanksgiving desserts~ What are you making/serving?

I just got finished making Pumpkin Cheesecake. Tomorrow morning I am going to make a Coconut Layer Cake.

A Mandarin Orange Cake. It's light enough after a big meal to not make you feel bad about dessert.

I am making my chocolate Kahlua pound cake and pumpkin pie. My husband would rather eat a bug than anything w/ pumpkin so the chocolate is for him

Chocolate Kahlua pound cake sounds great! DD is making a pound cake, too. I'm making a coconut cream pie & my niece is bringing the pumpkin and apple pies.

Sweet potatoe pie but not until Sunday because SO and I aren't doing Thanksgiving until Sunday because she flew 3000 miles away to see her family and I have no family, so I'll be home alone with the pets, I'll probably eat a frozen dinner on actual thanksgiving. But I can't wait to make that pie!

I'm making a grasshopper pie for my DH who doesn't eat the pumpkin or apple at his mom's house, and a tiramisu layer cake for my mom's house on Saturday. Come to think of it my DH won't eat the desserts at my mom's either. Oh well, that's what he gets for being so picky.

We are going to a friends for Thanksgiving and I am bringing two apple crumb pies and vanilla ice cream. And I think she said that she was making pecan pie.

Making apple pie as I've done since 7th grade Home & Careers class where I got the recipe (I'm now 23). It's so easy to make and soooooo delicious!!!!

Grandma is making Strawberry/Ruhbarb pie, 2 pumpkin (1 with molassas and 1 with out), and an apple pie.

Dd made the butterscotch/peanut butter things today. You take butterscotch morsels and melt them in the microwave. Add a couple of spoons of peanut butter and a cup or so of red skin peanuts. Then just spoon into the mini cupcake papers. Sounded a bit weird, but they are great tasting.

I have a chocolate chip cookie cake in the oven right now to bring with us to my uncle's. I figure there will be plenty of pumpkin and apple type desserts and I am a chocaholic so I (somewhat selfishly) decided to do something different

My mom is making the best cheesecake in the entire world and we sort of cheating this thanksgiving and bought a sam's club pumkin pie, though we are making the apple pie.

I made a Fluffy 2-Step Pumpkin Cheesecake. It's so easy and good!!

Fluffy 2-Step Pumpkin Cheesecake

Beat 1 pkg. (8 oz) Philadelphia cream cheese, 1 cup canned pumpkin, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 tsp. pumpkin pie spice in large bowl with electric mixer until smooth. Gently stir in 1 tub (8 oz) thawed Cool Whip whipped topping. Spoon into 1 prepared Honeymaid graham cracker crumb crust. Refrigerate 3 hr. or until set. Makes 8 servings.

Tip: Remove cream cheese from package & soften in microwave on high 15-20 seconds.

Last night we had our Thanksgiving dinner since all the kids were in and available.

We had pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and a chocolate-chip bunt cake. I made green bean caserole, sweet potatao caserole, ham, turkey, mashed potatos and gravy.

The roast has a bit of a story to it. Well, last night as we were cooking it, some gravy spilled over and got into the bottom of the stove. The stove smoked so bad that we had to open every door and air out the house. The smoke alarm went off and everyone handled it remarkably well. Except for my baby grandson (7 months), he looked around like "What the heck is going on!"

So, we had a good time, Even the "Smoked Roast" was good! lol

My crockpot apple pie turned out ok. I thought it needed a bit more sugar. I'm not sure the crust turned out like it was supposed to, either, but that may be my fault. I intended to cook it overnight, but because of DH's injury, we didn't get home from the hospital until nearly 3am. Wasn't up to peeling apples at that hour.

We had pumpkin, apple crumb and blueberry pies and a pumpkin roll. All the desserts were wonderful. Wish I could say that about the rest of the dinner, but we all had a good time.
