Thanksgiving Day crowds

Hi, all,
I just finished a fine trip report. The author visited the parks on Thanksgiving Day last year and reported that crowds were very low. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm trying to decide which two days to use my park passes. I arrive on Tuesday of Thanksgiving week and depart on Sunday. I know I'm going to Epcot on Friday for the Candlelight Processional, storytelling, etc., but the other park day is negotiable.
Thanks for any insight you may be able to offer!

We did Thanksgiving in 1998. We visited MK on that day and it was packed. I would try to avoid MK on that day unless things have changed.

We have friends that went 3 years ago and said there was a steady crowd build on Tues and Weds. Thursday and Friday were nuts.

We are heading down in a few days and we plan to do our major "park hopping" BEFORE Turkey day. We'll probably do Downtown Disney, Resorts and maybe Epcot AFTER Wednesday, but MK we have scheduled for Monday 11/23. It always seems that the MK bears the brunt of any holiday crowds; not sure why.

See you there!

We went Thanksgiving week 2001. The crowds were moderate, but Thanksgiving Day in MK was horrible. You could hardly move, so many people everywheres. The lines were terrible. I love going during that time of the year but I think I'll pick a different park for Thanksgiving Day. I don't know if it's like that at the other parks or not.

Cindy :D

My experience after two Thanksgiving visits is that MK is packed and the others aren't bad at all.

BAD!!!! AT all the parks. We have been on Thanksgiving four different times and each time they were all very crowded.

We've done MGM on Thanksgiving Day twice. Neither time was terrible. Lots of people, but still got to do all we wanted to. We're trying Epcot this year - hope it's not too bad.

Leaving in 4 days!!!
