Thanksgiving 2008 trip report

well...enough trip reporting..2 more days of Disney left. the fever is worse so I am going to eat and lie down....two more surprises left for the princess!

Wow....I just started reading this. I am only on the third post or something. I am enjoying all the photos.

We only get Thursday and Friday off for Thanksgiving up here. A whole week would be nice!

I'm off to read/see more.

and yes, being from NO....anything below 70 degrees is cold to me....we were constantly amazed at those in shorts and short sleeved shirts while we were bundled up to the nines!

So...what WAS the temperature? I went to the Macy's parade the other day and it was about 35 with a light breeze and I was cold but I was not wearing as many clothes as you were!

I am going to WDW in 2 weeks. I'm hoping for anything above 60 so I can go outside without a heavy coat!

dh and dd have no clue why I am suiting up with TWO pairs of socks, a pair of long underwear and TWO pairs of pants, two shirts, coat, scarf, gloves and blankets......

Could you move at all? Or were you doing the penguin waddle?

I loved the story of your fireworks cruise! It sounds like it was awesome!


I have enjoyed reading so far...I'm all caught up now. The BBB was cute, and so was the dinosaur.

And you had some really nice meals too!

they said it was in the low 40's most nights..the dampness and the high winds were the killer! I couldn't believe I could walk...but hey I was warm! thanks for reading...

still sick and NOTHING is working. antibiotics, mucinex, pseudofed, nyquil...ARGH!!! we will be back at the world on 12/21 - hope the weather is warmer then too!

You're all stuffed up right? In your sinuses too? Have you tried a neti pot? Kinda gross but it's like a little watering can that you pour water w/ saline through your nose and it helps clear it out. You can get them for around $10 like at CVS or Walgreens.

I was HORRIBLY stuffed up last week and the thing that actually worked best was to boil a pot of water on the stove and just stand over it and breath the steam - for like 15 minutes. Then I went through like half a box of Kleenex but I felt a lot better!

just got all caught up! What an awesome surprise the fireworks cruise was! DF and I are thinking about doing a disneymoon and if we end up there i definatly want to surprise him with a fireworks cruise.
