Thanksgiving 2008 (Let's Do Our Count Down)

We will be going 11-24-11-30 at POP THEN ovvver to WL fora week til 12-07!

but does ANYONE KNOW when the November park hours come out?

When did they come out last year?

We will be there Nov. 26th thru Dec. 6th. for our WDW Thanksgiving Vacation Extravaganza!!!
Staying off site at a vacation rental home.
I'm just now thinking of a couple of character breakfasts and MVMCP.
We will definitely want to see Mary Poppins at 1900 Park Fair and I'm going to try for CRT for the first time.
My DD will be 6yr and DS will be 13yr ( I will not say DW age).
We are looking forward to the world showcase at Epcot.
DW wants photos of the children with all the different Santa's.
Here it is the day before TAX day and I'm thinking of all the Christmas magic at WDW.
Does anyone know where to get a countdown timer?

So everyone...when the November park hours are posted (hopefully by the end of this week) I know everyone will start planning their ADRs.

I'm curious, where are yall thinking of making some ressies at? Particularly Thanksgiving day? I'm looking for some good ideas! I'm always up for trying some new places each trip. In particular, I'm thinking of trying either Boma or Jiko this time around!

I do like to stick with my favorites though too, booking an afternoon tea at Garden View Lounge is one of my musts!

So, what ADRs do yall plan on making?

11/23 - 11/28 Pop Century. My daughter celebrated her very 1st birthday in the Magic Kingdom in March, 2007. Spent last Thanksgiving at WDW also. This time we're taking 2 other families with us including some first timers. Can't wait to see their reaction. SOOOOO long 'til November!

Hey Sugahappy...I think we are going to have Thanksgiving at 1900 Park Fare since we will be at GF plus lounge around the resort that day. I think we will do Yachtsman Steakhouse (my fav), sci fi diner...

Hi tinklvr64! I love yachtsman! I don't really have any suggestions myself...I'm just looking for ideas by seeing what other ppl on the boards are doing! I'm waiting for the park hours to come out to decide where we should go (which park) on Thanksgiving. We aren't really staying long enough to take a day off from the parks on that day, even though I'm sure it'll be super crowded in every park! I'd love to maybe do Brown Derby though, that's one of my favorites!

I agree about those park hours...I believe though the week of Thanksgiving everything stays open extra late MK-midnight etc...

I keep checking for hours, but I haven't been able to find them. Has anyone gotten the hours for November especially during Thanksgiving week? I get to make my ADRs soon, but wanted to know which parks open early/stayed open late on which days before I made ADRs.

We'll be there at the AKL from 11/21-11/28. I get to make ADR's on Sunday. Can't wait! I'm hoping it won't be as crowded as Thanksgiving was a few years ago.
