Thanksgiving 2007!!!

Thanks Macbasset. I spoke with a good friend of mine today who had an accessible cabin on her last cruise with Disney...and she wanted to know "who I knew" at Disney to get such an awesome cabin! Apparently, she was cruising with her mom and had to "fight" to get an accessible room (her mom has MS and sometimes needs a wheelchair...and is sometimes OK with just a cane). Her statement...which left me :rotfl2: is that the cabin they had was large enough to hold a Mini cooper AND all the clowns that could possibly ever squeeze into the Mini Cooper...along with a bartender and a complete bar!

So...I guess were gonna keep this cabin...but we won't be bringing the Mini Cooper or any clowns (just Goofy)....but the bar and bartender sound like a good idea to me!

Rob,

Hope DD feels better.

Karen

Its going to be a fight to the end... hope more people get active on this board.

As we get closer to sailing I will put together a list of people that are staying at the Hyatt MCO on the Friday before the cruise and we can have a pre-pre cruise get together at the hotel bar:thumbsup2

Rob

We're driving in and decided to stay at Disney for the night so we'll see you on the boat instead of at the Hyatt.

last Call For T-shirts...order Goes In On Monday. Please Get Me Your Information No Later Than Sunday, 5 P.m. Cdt! Let's Have A Sea Of Green So Everyone Else Wonders Who This Group Is!

That last message was pretty emphatic and to the point i would say...As to the dinner link, I have a message in to the person in charge who was out today, so it will resolve on Monday. I have received 6 additional reservation numbers to link to the ones I had already linked.

That's great! Does everyone think the dining rooms are ready for our DISboard group?:rotfl2:

Sorry...I guess big type could be read as yelling...not my intention! I did want anyone cruising the board to be able to pick it out and get their t-shirt order in on time.

So, now I'll just sit by my computer and wait to see if any one else needs a t-shirt.....:surfweb:

A question for all you DCL experienced cruisers...is there an advantage to rebooking onboard? Is it a discount or something? If so, how much? Can I book more than 1 stateroom?

Sorry but, I just don't know what I don't know!:confused3

Now...I need to do laundry.....:laundy:

Rob:

We are at the Hyatt on Friday... Our flight has changed a little and we won't be in until 8:00 pm.

Thanks

Wendy

Yes, there is a HUGE advantage to rebooking onboard! We did this in January for this cruise. At the time, we didn't know we'd be cruising again so soon, so we just picked out some random date in the future. They let you move the discounts to your final date.

For the 7 night cruise, we got 10% off and a $200 OBC. :thumbsup2 I thought you were allowed to book more than one room, but I'm not sure if that's true or not.

Barb - if you could PM me your e-mail address, I'll send it via e-mail. Thanks!

So......last night was the annual Mother/Daughter Halloween dance for our neighborhood Girl Scouts. Always lots of fun. Let me start by showing you a "normal" picture of my family: DS Logan, me, DH Lenny, and DD Leah:

Now I can go ahead and scare all of you with a picture of Leah and I from last night! :lmao: We had a blast!!!

Four weeks from RIGHT NOW we'll be at the DCL terminal! :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cloud9:

It's exciting, isn't it?! :jumping1: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :goofy: :mickeyjum

Rachel's friend Shanelle (who's going to be sailing with us) was at our house last night and we showed her some photos from Thanksgiving 05. I wish I could post them here. They were photos from semi-formal night and we were standing with Goofy (who was wearing his tux!)

Come on docs! The excitement is REALLY gaining momentum now!

Karen

OH YES!

And yes, I believe you're eligible for a discount for each stateroom provided the person whose name is on the reservation is a Castaway Club member. (Every adult who sails DCL is automatically a member after their first sailing.) Rob and I each have our own number, so if we wanted to book two staterooms for the future, we should each get a 10% for each room. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong?):confused3 Also, you get a 200.00 (or is it 250.00?) on-board credit for the next booking. We had friends who didn't rebook while on-board it it was their BIGGEST regret. Of course, you can ALWAYS change the date and still retain the discount and credit for another booking. Just don't cancel it!:sad2:

Priscilla

Remember that the rebooking HAS to be done onboard. My MIL and SIL were wavering in January if they wanted to rebook or not. They didn't, got off the ship and decided they wanted to, called the day after we got off and it was too late.

Also, be prepared to put your deposit down at the time you rebook. I think it is $250 per person for the 7 night.
