Yes, its great, isn't it! Your observation made me realize that some of the car talk is missing. Lampy loves to talk about his 'vette, and I think there were some other car fans out there.

Yeah, I like that picture of Dan peering down on the legs contest.

Hey- You have to be sure to tell Pikey hello from the Turkeys- see if you can find out if he will still be there come November (I'm thinking probably not). Don't tell him that we are coming back. I don't want to be served with a restraining order.

Oh and definitely rent the electric car in KW. In about two hours, you can hit all of the highlights. Also, since you are a fellow Turkey- here's a secret tip. There is a large, old hotel on Duval St. I can't remember the name of it right now, but it is the tallest building on the street. It has a Starbucks on the street level, and there is a bar/observation deck on the top. The elevators say something about a two drink minimum in the bar, but if you go in the morning, the bar is not open, and you can go up and have the best view in all of KW. You will be able to see the cruise ships, the KW light house, everything. Try it- and it is free! Keep it on the DL, though, if they get invaded everytime the Magic is in town, they will probably put a stop to it.

I will be spending the weekend thus- Tonite is the Lumberton High School Lady Raiders first basketball playoff game of this year! On to State again! Good luck Hayley!

Saturday morning the Lumberton HS softball team has a game, with Hayley at first base.

Saturday afternoon I will be watching softball tryouts for Erins team. I am assisting. Then to the gym for closing ceremonies for the Little Dribblers boys season. Next week we start the girls season, and that is when I will be at the gym each Saturday for 15 hours.

Sunday, Kelli is taking me over to Lake Charles, Louisiana to the L' AuBerge Du Lac Casino Hotel for my birthday. Then back work Monday morning.

Whew! Putting it in words makes me sound busy!

Have any of your teens done the Wild Side excursion at Castaway Cay? It sounds like something my DS, his cousin, and friends would enjoy.

I'm also interested in the new swim with the Sea Lions excursion that is going to be offered in Cozumel this year. I'm sure it won't compare with the Dolphin excursion, but it's a heck of a lot cheaper!

OK, I've been reading the DIS boards for a couple of weeks now. And I just wanted ya'll to know I've booked my family on the Magic for Thanksgiving '07
also. My kids have had a Fall Break in October the last few years and we've gone to WDW the last two of them. Instead of a fall break they're getting a full week off at Thanksgiving, so I immediately checked into DCL. I've never been so excited about a trip in my whole life!
I think about it all day. Is this normal? Hope to hear back from somebody soon! I have so many questions. Thanks, Melinda

Had a fun time at the casino Sunday. Some buddies came over and we got on the Craps Tables. We were having a great time and winning a little. Then the double Crowns started kicking in, and lost back winnings plus a couple of hundred. Oh well....

Kelli was killing some time before her spa appointment and hit a decent jackpot on a slot machine. So she was happy. Did the couples massage thing and it was great. the only bad thing about the massage was that it sobered me up!
Later that evening, Kell and I had a late snack and went to the Craps table again. The table got hot and I won back my earlier losses plus a few hundred. Kelli turned her $25 in chips into $200 n chips. Ain't those casinos fun when you win?


Oh, yes, Hayleys basketball team won their playoff game by 21 points Friday night. Next game is Wednesday.

So not a bad birthday at all!
