Thanks to Parkhopper!!!

Parkhopper's Second Pin Party was this last Sunday. We had a wonderful time seeing everyone again, new people, pin trading, fanatical discussions about Disney and the wonderful food. Parkhopper made his famous meatballs. They were great!!! Whenever there is a third one, you MUST attend. So, when is the next one? You already had an entire day to rest.

We had another great Parkhopper Pin party. You guys do such a great job and make it look sssooo easy -- Ha! We all know you put tons of planning into yet another success.

Thanks Vince and Susi for a wonderful time. Got to meet some of the wonderful people from the boards, (I apologize for missing anyone) Mickey7811, Eeyore's Pal and DH, RamVA, JudySue (a fellow Windsor McCay Fan!), Cheshire Figment, Hopkins & family, Diznee Denna & Family, Vince's clone......I mean son Tony , Eeyore64 and her son Brian, Obi-Wan Pinobi and Mean Laureen, JK1 and a few others that don't post on the boards. Most special of all was meeting Steven, Eeyore64's lucky son. When he lost his pins in WDW I sent a few non Disney soccer pins to help ease the pain. We have become buddies through soccer and pins.

DizneeDenna got me started on the Divas Villain Lenticulars, I now need Maleficent and The Evil Queen, helped Mickey7811 with her Millenium pin quest for PinHook, traded for a Don Karnage pin that I didn't have, and made several other trades that are not coming to this frazzled and tired brain right now.

Let me know when the 3rd one is. I'd love to attend but this time I'm flying!

Maybe we should add CT to the series........maybe around Halloween...........

Dear Suzi and Vince,

Thank you so much for the wonderful time yesterday.

I think I only made two trades for myself, but they were two great ones. Thanks Jackie for Mickey's Retreat and Thanks Vince for my 100 Magical Years Pin.

And thanks to everyone for your assistance in collecting the 101 TDS for Pinhook. He was shocked when I told him I only had 5 more pins to go. A special thanks to Christy - Daisycrazy, she hit the outlet for me and was able to get alot of the pins I needed. And also to Dom and Suzi and Mary Agnes.

And thanks to everyone for contributing to my flex collection. I think I can be crowned the Flex Queen.

I have one major regret, I did not try the meetballs. Why didn;t someone tell me how good they were.

How are you treating all those LE pins you won playing the LE bingo game? I'm glad I was sitting next to you. The moment you won was priceless! DiskneeDenna had one number lefty on her card, too until you won. I on the other hand had 5 numbers left. Have your parents bought you a new pin book.

We had a fantastic time.

I want to thank everyone who helped me out with my quest to complete the 101 set.

Vince, I also want to thank you for passing on the Buzz Lightyear ride toy to Jacob. He has slept with it for the past two nights and refuses to let Jordan see it, for fear that she will break it.

Shawn had a great time eating and reading the paper.

My parents were thrilled also. My mom made quite a few trades and was able to pick up some pins that my dad wanted. Even though he was there, he let her do the trading.


Just let us know when the third one will be and we will be there.

Our thanks to everyone who attended the event. It was a lot of fun for us as well. I can say that there will definitely be more Pin Parties in the future. I don't have anything planned right now, but I will be sure post about it when we get ready to plan another one. The meet place is cleaned up and ready to go again whenever we decide.

Oh and I was so busy at this meet with activities etc. that I didn't get a chance to take any pictures. If anyone with pictures could post a couple somewhere I would love to see them.

I'm late as usual but I also wanted to thank Vince and Suzi for a extraordinary job on the meet!

It was great meeting some new people and seeing friends again (like my evil sister MeanKathleen )

So when is part 3?

Well sis, I enjoyed spending time with you guys too!
Steven has a new hero--- can we all guess who???

The week-end was a blast!
Steven, Brian and I left Youngsville, NC drove to Richmond where we had lunch with Aunt MeanLaureen
THEN we drove to the Disney Catalog Outlet Store ( no details needed there I'm sure!!)
THEN we drove on to Rockville, we had dinner a Chez BurgerKing it had the BIGGEST play place my boys had ever seen and 2 TVs, then we went back to the hotel and went swimming.... these guys were up until 11pm and slept in until 9:15am ( I'm still giving thanks to God for that one!)

Then we ate breakfast and headed to the meet!
Hooked up again with my 'sis' and her hubby.
Had a wonderful chat with Suzi
Met many wonderful new people, visited with many I already knew-- it was such FUN

and get this ( you moms and dads will understand) Suzi and Vince had a TV in the other room complete with VCR and Disney videos!

Even *I* made trades and all I usually do is sit and talk and drool on peoples' pins.. I mean over peoples' pin LOL

AND I got the Minnie 4th of July light up pin-- ok so I had to buy it ( since nobody wanted any of my remaining traders!) but I GOT it and at cost! ( thanks pin angel!! you know who you are)

So thanks so much to Vince and Suzi-- it was a wonderful week-end!!
