Thanks to Disney CM's for Staying at their Posts!

I just wanted to say thanks to any castmembers who might see this. Staying at work, trying to keep your resort guests calm and happy while you must be worrying about your own families and homes has got to be really rough. So thanks. You really deserve some pixie dust of your own! My family is pulling for all of you, guests and CM's alike, to get through this storm with no real damage.

I agree completely. We are here and they have been wonderful. They all have homes and families in harm's way but they are here making the best for us. However some guests just seem not to understand what is important in life and have actually given them a hard time. Like it's thier fault, geez. Some people have no idea of what is truely important.

As long as you are safe and we have all been, then nothing else matters.

I was just wondering how they managed to keep those CMs at work instead of at home. Perhaps some of them lived in homes/mobile homes that wouldn't fare well and they felt safer at their resort.

Nevertheless, hats off to them! They are great Guardian Angels to all of the guests.

I guess this proves just how great the CMs are!!!!!!They are allways great and work hard to please you.At times like these you really appreciate them(and they must be worried as hell about family and friends).I can't understand people giving them a hard time.

i couldn't agree more, in fact, there are not enough words of praise i could say to thank CM's for all the joy and magic they have brought into the life of my family since wdw opened 33 years ago! all i can tell you is that you are the HEART of disney for me; i hope that better days are coming (company wise) for you all and i am so proud that Disney CM's continue to set the standard for conduct for workers the world over! I wanted to be just like you and that's why I became a DS CM and dreamed of moving to FL to work at WDW (almost did when I was 18, long story LOL)

anyway, for continually going above and beyond the call every day not just during hurricanes...i support and thank you with all my heart. I will always try to be the kind of guest who brings a little joy to YOUR day and not the kind who makes your job harder to do!
