Thanks for the Memories!!

Hi ya'll,

I know I'm running a bit behind the pack, but I wanted to say "Thanks!" to everybody involved with making the Epcot Event an experience to remember. I cherish my lanyard, and the fine folks I had the pleasure of meeting while I was there. I appreciate all the hard work and long hours that everybody put in to make the Great Pin Adventure a success.

My family and I are new to pin trading and to the community and so many of you treated us like long lost family. You were great to our kids and fussed over me as Iwas a few days out of surgery and still gimping around.

The Swann meet was terrific - too bad we had to leave!

My only negative comment is that I couldn't do enough - especially the Happy Pin Dance!! I was so ready! But thanks to Raul we have great (albeit incriminating) photos.

Jeff, Laurie, Matt, Kathryn, and everybody I know I'm overlooking because I'm not really versed on everybody yet (shame on me!)...thank you, thank you! My kids thank you! My family thanks you!

Sooooo, when are we gonna do it again? I'm healed now, and back in training for the Happy Pin Dance rematch....(cue Rocky music in the background)....any takers?

Raul, this time *I* get the camera. I wanna see you dance with Pinboy!

Well said!!! Everyone did a wonderful time, and it was worth eating all of those awful hot dogs...

It was great to meet people from all over the country, and from some of the other parks. and to be able to trade w/ them..

Living here near Orlando, we are spoiled with being able to spend most weekends in the parks, and having the opportunity to be able to get the pins as they are released, and being able to trade w/ the CM's , that we sometimes forget how lucky we really are..but at these events, when we meet the people from all over that have to travel so far to get here, for what we sometimes take
for granted, that we really begin to appreciate being so close to the Mouse House..

Now we have to ready ourselves for the next few hectic weeks.....and my feet haven't fully recovered from the Epcot event.

Oh well...Hi Ho it's off to Pin Trading we go!!!!

Jeff after the kind of week I have just had I had no interest in scrolling throgh one of your epics. However, last night after DIZ chat I found time to relax. I lay in my bed with my 21" monitor next to my pillow and begain reading your how to survive on 4 hours post. It was time for a laugh. and OMG you had me rolling.

Thanks for being who you are. I know the next few weeks will continue to be tense for me, but that's life. I am so glad that you can "birtually" be a part of mine.

Lauri thanks for your wicked little plot to keep him from sleeping. It seemed to have improved his sense of humor. (IS THAT POSSIBLE?)

So happy you each got the CTT pin as there are many who saw how much you put into the prep of your own pin event(s).

Yours took a great deal more energy to earn, but it is worth it once you get it because you earned it, isn't it?
