Thanks for ALL your Prayers and thoughts

I would like to thank all my DIS friends for their thoughts and prayers that they have extended my family over the past 18months.

It is both with sadness and a sense of relief that I tell you all that my loving Stepmother (such a strange phrase for someone who has ment so much more) has lost her 5 year battle ( and I do mean battle...her Drs. say she endured more radiation or Chemo then anyone they have ever treated) with Breast Cancer.

I was with her when she passed. It was truly a relief to see her finally at peace. She was truly an amazing woman. She touched everyone she met. It has only been about 40hrs and my dad has found strength in the woman that she was and how she touched those she came into contact.

So, at 55yrs old the earth lost an amazing woman....but the heavens have gained an incredible angel....

Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers over the years...

I'm so sorry Kim. I lost my mom at age 55 - I know how hard it is - seems harder since she was so young.

You, your family and your dad will be heavily in my prayers the next few weeks and months - as long as you need them. And also when I attend our Relay for Life this year!

Very sorry....my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I know all too well how difficult it is to watch a loved one suffer with cancer. Be that as it may, it is a relief when they close their dear eyes and there are no doubts they are finally at peace w/no pain or suffereing in a better place. You were blessed to have such a wonderful stepmother, her memories and love will live in your heart forever.
