Thanks to you I now have this addiction to Animal Crossing- City Folk. After listening to you talk about it I finally went out and bought it. It sat untouched until I was tired of my DH naggging me about buying a game and not opening it for weeks. Well I opened the heroin box on Saturday and can't get off the Wii since. I even left work early today so I could sell some high dollar fish and pay off my second mortage. As I am writing this I hear the tunes playing from the downstairs TV as my husband fishes the night away. Sadly to say we are now both AC addicts and we owe it all to you Pete.:rotfl2:

I know exactly how you feel, it's all Pete's fault that I am addicted as well. But it is great fun isn't it.

I know, it just sucks you in. Thanks to Pete, not only am I addicted but so are my 3 kids.:rotfl:

After playing the Wii version I went out and picked up the DS version. So now I am playing both games. :scared: My kids are home again today because of ice; so I let them know they would have to watch me play AC this morning.:rotfl2:

Feel free to join our Animal Crack... er, I mean Crossing, yeah, Crossing.... support threads here on the Podcast Forum. We have a Friend Code Exchange one, if you are on wireless and can get out through WiiConnect. We also have an Issues thread which usually stays on the first page - with lots of tips and questions.

Welcome. My name is Nancy and I play Animal Crossing.....:rotfl2:

"I opened the heroine box" I love that!! This game is totally addicting. Show me where in real life I can live on the beach and just fish all day and make money to support my shopping habit!!

Hi - My name is Marilee and I'm an Animal Crossing-aholic

My life as I knew it has changed forever... I don't wanna work - I wanna fish on the beach all day :beach:

Does this make you all Animal Crackers? ;)

OH MY GOSH!!! I was reading down the thread and then read this and just started laughing. I am not really sure why, it was just funny. Thanks Mindy...it had been a long, stressful day.

HI my name is Melissa, aka disneym2m, and I am an Animal Crossing addict.

OK We are Animal Crossing addicts. I stayed home "sick" to spend the day with my husband (he has off Fridays and Saturdays). We have played Animal Crossing most all day when someone wasnt playing they were napping. What a great day. We also find the music great to sleep to. My husband has even caught himself humming the tune at work this is bad.:cool1:

I have heard of people discovering other AC players because of the humming...

My favorite music is when you are up very late playing... it's so soft and soothing. I've dozed off a few times with the Wii remote in my hand, or worse yet my Nintendo DS.

I am 100% Animal Crackers!!

the funny thing is it's just like an MMORPG which is also highly addicting(world of warcraft, evercrack, etc) So Nintendo has managed to reach out to the general population and make this kind of game a success, which is pretty impressive. Soon you'll all be playing WoW with a lvl 80 Blood Elf mage collecting every pet in the game! Just wait!

We also find the music great to sleep to. My husband has even caught himself humming the tune at work this is bad.:cool1:

I had trouble sleeping last night becuase in Australia right now it is Surface of the Sun hot. And I found myself with the tune in my head and I couldn't get it out. Making sleeping even more difficult. My mind just wouldn't shut up. :lmao:

I bought this game too and I am an addict.

Maybe I can figure out how to put up a meth lab in my town!:)
