Thank You from WDW

I just got a Thank You Card in the mail from WDW... It had my last name printed on Mickey Ears inside and it was signed by the Wilderness Lodge GM! I've heard there's also an e-mail version of this... has anyone gotten that version?... just curious.

Yes, I got an e-mail version back in June, 2002 from Fort Wilderness. We had stayed in the cabins. It was a nice touch. If I remeber correctly with the e-mail version you were able to print out Mickey Ears with someone's name on it and then make it into a paper hat somehow. I printed them out but that was as far as I got.

Yes I received a thank you email from the GM of the Contemporary recently for my stay there. There was a link to a website to print out a Mickey ears hat with your name on the back- it prints out in 2 sheets, and then you cut it out and staple it together. I thought it was a nice touch.

That sounds pretty cool... the version I got also had 4 postcards that you could give to friends and family to order a free WDW video.

Maybe next time I make a reservation I should give them my e-mail address. What kind of other e-mails do they send? Anything good?
