Imagine my surprise this morning when I was awoken by a loud and impatient knocking on my front door. Being a Sunday I could have been forgiven for thinking a lie-in was in order, and that when I did eventually surface from my slumber I could take my time getting ready to tackle the world.
It would appear, however, that Royal Mail had other ideas, and had decided that today would be a perfect day to catch up on the backlog of letters, parcels and cards that had stacked up at our local sorting office as a result of the bad weather over the last few weeks.
And how pleased I was that they had chosen to do this when they handed me a parcel containing this little lot
As you can see my prize for coming 3rd in the Dis Quiz for November was a Disney reusable bag, Disney chocolate bars, snowman chocolate lolly, a Goofy keyring, Disney logo fridge magnet, and a Mickey ears straw.
Needless to say that DS and DD were extremely jealous of my early Christmas gifts and I am hugely grateful to Claire for her generosity.
