First I wanted to thank everyone on all the info on here. With FAQ and questions others have asked, you guys have pretty much answered all my questions.
Here's my scenario, my youngest, who will turn 1 in 2 weeks (when we're driving to WDW) has pediatric mastocytosis & urticaria pigmentosa.
With this diagnosis, he has a very high likelihood of having a reaction to high allergens. So, we have to carry epipen (you guys answered those questions on here). He tested fine w/milk protein in his blood work, but whenever he's had milk products, he's vomitted. So he's having a milk challenge test in a few weeks. I was told I can slowly introduce soy, you guys all answered if I can easily find soy. Have to keep him away from other foods (shellfish, peanuts, etc) and we know he's allergic to bananas, whenever he eats, he vomits. I was given the ok to slowly introduce eggs to make sure he doesn't have reaction. I have the restaurant form, that I am going to complete today and send back w/his allergies and my ADR's. all I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!
He has had factory made waffles, etc, now allergist wants me to try baked goods that I make (to test out the egg). So here is my questions...I think I'm going to have 2 cakes made for his bday at WDW, like we are here. I have to order in next day or so.
Are they able to make egg free & soy cakes?? I'm not getting the ones that they have in the restaurants you can just order, doing speciality cake to pick up at BW bakery. I'm going to try calling them later on....when the kids are sleeping
thanks!
