hi,

i have booked hotels, meal vouchers, flights, airport carparking, everything except airport - dlp transportation.

My question is...

We fly into CDG Teminal 1 at 9.40am
There are two TGVs, one at 10.28am and one at 11am but they are from Terminal 2. With two checked bags to collect and travel from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2 to consider, which would you book?

Does anyone know how to get from T1 to T2??? Does it take long?

I will be forever indebted to anyone that can help me!!! i cannot find any info online :confused3 thanks

If you have bags to collect, I'd go for the later TGV. T1 and T2 are linked by the internal CDGVal train, this is free and runs every 15 minutes or so between all the terminals. You follow the signs for CDGVal at T1. You get off at T2 (they announce which stop is next while you're on the train) and then basically you go down 2 escalators to the TGV station (follow the signs for sncf with a little train sign beside it).

The journey on the CDGVal between T1 and T2 is about 10 minutes long (they are not the next stops to each other, I think there are 3 or 4 stops between the 2).

thanks a mill, have just seen the useful info thread and had figured everything except transfer times from T1 to T2, thank you so much for all the info. i think im going to go mad and book it!
