Texas to open 100%

I'm ready to stop wearing a mask, but I can wait for folks to get vaccinated first. It's not like that will take much longer.
I can understand your sentiment. I will continue to do what is required and use whatever precautions are necessary. Although there are many different thoughts as to what is necessary.

What will be interesting is how easily people adapt to a non-restricted, non-masked existence. My daughter had a volleyball tournament in the middle of nowhere last weekend and the town was like a time warp to 2019. Nobody wore masks. I was so uncomfortable. I’m sure it’s going to take me awhile to feel like walking around without a mask and sitting shoulder to shoulder watching kid sports is a normal occurrence.

yep lots of different thoughts of what is necessary that’s why we had how many millions of people get covid in USA. Lots of people didn’t care. It’s a shame.

find Florida without looking at the key. Very good representation of how well NPIs work.

Florida has not lifted its mandate. In fact, out total of new cases is slowly creeping back up. Last week we were averaging around 4,000 new cases a day. Today, the total of new cases is 7,000.

Good luck,, Texas. If people could only hold out a few more months, we might actually get out of this.
Not according to fauci

We got COVID because people don't care? I know people who used extreme precautions...still contracted the virus. I know others who lived somewhat normally...no COVID. I don't believe feelings factored into their outcome.

Better than my state New Jersey im sure we will be one of the last ones to get rid of the masks.
The really smart states are the ones who locked down completely and stayed that way. They are getting the lion"s share of the coronavisus bill now pending because their unemployment rates are so incredibly high.

Not the first. Iowa is open and I think several others, including Montana and SD.

As of February 24, South Dakota is 2nd in the United States for covid cases per capita (12,609 per 100,000) Iowa is 8th (10,585 per 100,000). Interstingly, Montana is 21st (9,278 per 100,000 )

Just because you're allowed to do something doesn't mean you have to. Pennsylvania is allowing 50% capacity with indoor dining in restaurants. I haven't eaten in a restaurant since sometime before March 13th. I don't care what my state says.
