Texas Challenge

Has anyone been following the TV series A Place In The Sun?.
A couple of days ago, a restaurant was featured that had what was called the Texas Challenge. The challenge was to eat a mountain of steak (literally). The guy attempting it failed miserably, but the doggy bag probably kept the rest of the family in beef sandwiches for a month.
Does anyone know where this place is? I could never do the challenge, but the puddings were enormous.

Yep I saw it. I'm taping the programme daily and watching when I get home.

I'd also like to know where the featured restaurant is, I think it was called The Texas Steakhouse but I may be wrong and have already taped over that episode so I can't check.

I don't think I've ever seen so much meat on 1 plate! Must be embarassing when they march you around all the tables when you tell them you are willing to undertake the challenge.

I <i>think</i> it was called the Texas Cattle Co. which is a franchise - if it is, there is one in St Petes and one in Lakeland, which is not far from Winter Haven - I'm guessing they were in the Lakeland restaurant.

We have been talking about this programme on the UK Community Board - definitely one to watch if you love Florida!

Edit: I wrote that it's not far from Haines City but I meant Winter Haven
