Teva sandals

I have these and they are very comfortable. I am wearing them as much as possible before we go to make sure they are broken in. I had a pair of the leather Teva's that were really comfortable, but we went to Universal one spring and I had not worn them all winter and by the end of the day I was miserable from blisters on my heels. I have not had any discomfort from the new sandals, I have had them about a month.

Well, I was able to go to the mall yesterday and try on a pair. They weren't the leather (Circuit) kind but they were the plastic (purple) kind. The 8 was too big and the 7 was a hair small so I guess I'm a half size. Bummer. I'm afraid the 7 will hurt after awhile as I have wide feet and the strap around my ankle but down by my heal was kind of digging into my heal and the 8 looked like a ski on my foot!

I wish I could have actually tried the Circuits.

Now, I'm not sure wha I'll do. Maybe I'll find a store that actually has the Circuit Sandal and know for sure.

Thanks for listening.

Today, I was wearing a different sandal with a between the toe piece, by the time I got home, I was ready to throw them out and wear nothing but the Teva Niyati! I told my husband that those Teva's have spoiled me and that I may never buy another "cutsie" sandal again! Honestly, they are very comfortable!

If you happen to order online, and wear a half size, size up. They only come in full sizes. For me, an 8 is really like a 7 1/2.

Thanks for the information. I actually tried these on the other day in Modells, and I was amazed how comfortable they were, I just questioned the thing between the toes. Have you worn them to WDW?:hyper:

lissawyn,

Did you have any trouble with the Niyanti's and the strap between your toes?:wave2:

Haven't worn them to WDW yet, but I did wear them on an all day (about 10 hours straight  ) shopping marathon. I wore them for purpose of seeing if they would be comfortable all day, and they were. I'll be taking both pair with me next week to WDW.

Teva does make a style with the same sole, and no between the toe piece. I haven't tried them, but they look like they would be comfortable too. A link below:

Ok, I'm almost ready to buy them! I now know I'm a size 7 by search for a pair to try on. I tried on the Pretty Rugged Leather sandals...very comfy!

Anyway, I'm torn between the Pretty Rugged Leather and the Circuit Leather. I'm leaning toward the Circuit because it says it's the best 'walking' sandal.

Now, for my question to any Teva experts out there. Can you wear either of these sandals in the rain? If I get stuck in a rain storm at Disney will I be ok?

I'm leaning toward the leather sandals because they seem much more comfortable than the nylon ones.

Thanks! I can't wait to buy them!:teeth:

I just ordered the ones from Zappos for DD and Me. Haven't gotten them yet, but I once had a pair (lost them) and they are wonderfully comfortable. These are the ones without the toe thing.

Beattyfamily-

Looks like the circut is waterproof leather.....but I think if you got either of them wet in rain, they'd be okay...I just wouldn't plan on wearing them tromping around in a river or Serenity Bay! You should check out Tevas web site...they have some product info about each shoe.

These are the most comfortable flip flops made by man:
Teva Mush - $20 I've done WDW in just these.

followed closely by ones made by Old Navy fo $10.50 (can't find a picture - but they look JUST LIKE the Teva brand - and just as comfortable!)

The Teva Spoiler Sport Sandals that 2BigKIdz mentioned are on sale at The Sports Authority for $29.99. I tried them on, and they felt great.

The Niyantis that Yardbird mentioned are on sale at Modell's for $19.99. I tried them on, and they felt great.

I feel like Goldilocks sleeping in all the beds!! Just have to find a good walking sandal. No sneakers do the the trick for me.
I was a huge fan of Nike Straprunner Sandals. I had the II's and loved them, but the III's and IV's were not as comfortable, and gave me blisters. I have the Teva Pretty Rugged Leather and the Circuits. The Pretty Rugged are comfortable, but not for WDW and me. The Circuits were a little better. It seems that the Teva's have improved on the comfort level of their straps. Hopefully one of these sandals will fit the bill for me this trip!!

Any other personal reviews on the Spoilers or Niyanti's??:wave2:

For the record....got the Stratum last night...Zappo's is FAST::yes:: Wore them to do a bit of shopping and I gotta say they will NOT cut it a full day at the parks, IMHO. The Teva Terradactyls (I know that isn't spelled right!) that I got 8 years ago were a lot more comfy. I may wear them at AK, where we are typically out early, but I doubt they keep my feet happy for a day at Epcot, where we typically stay from open to close.

I wear my Pretty Rugged Leathers on all my WDW trips and have been blister free (for the first time with these shoes) and have been caught in the rain many times with no problems. They really dry fast! I don't think I can do Disney without them...I have even worn them in December and February in the 50-degree weather!

Oh, and thanks alot Stinkerbelle...thanks to you I have a pair of Mush flip-flops on the way, LOL!!! :p

I am so glad to hear the Teva Mush sandals are good for walking in WDW. I just bought a pair for my 13 yo DD.

If you want a great walking shoe that are similar to Teva's but not as expensive. Try the Earth shoe they sell at Wal-Mart. I bought a pair last year and walked for 10 days at Universal and WDW. They were great. They are also less than $20 and had no problems with them getting wet.

Thanks to those who recommended Zappos! I ordered the Teva Elixir sandals this morning, got 2 day shipping for FREE!!! This is a great place.

Also, those Teva Mush flip-flops are great too, but they kinda make my arches hurt if I walk in them for a long time.

The Teva spoilers are very comfortable, no blisters or strap irritation. Haven't worn them to a park yet but have worn them walking for long periods of time and they still feel great at the end of the day. I usually wear an 8.5 but the 8 fits me perfectly in these.

well - not EVERYONE can walk all day in flip flops...I know I'm probably in the minority here with that...but I think they are VERY comfortable flip flops...and dry relatively fast when they get wet (although you will be 'mush mushing' around for a bit. hehehe)

The Spoilers also seem to have good arch support, or at least it seemed when I tried them on.::yes::

well, money talks!! I ended up getting the Pretty Rugged leather sandals instead of the Circuits ($80) because they were on sale at the Sport Authority website...they were $56.24 (instead of $75.00) AND they are running a promo buy one get the second one 50% off till June 12! So I bought my sister who is coming with me to WDW the pair of Tevas she likes which are also Pretty Rugged but the nylon kind...hers ended up being 50% off so they were $24.36! Grand total for both Pretty Ruggeds was $87 (shipping was $6.)

I can't wait to get them now!!!

edited to add... I just checked and Sport Authority are still doing the buy one get one at 50% off BUT the prices are not sale prices anymore! The Pretty Rugged nylon and leather are back at full price so I got a REALLY good deal yesterday!!!

Bought 2 more pairs of TEVAs yesterday at Sports Authority buy one get one 50% off. They were Pretty rugged Nylons @ 64.99 and the other was Spoiler womens for 54.99. Total $100.58 with tax here @8 1/2 %..... These were for 2 of my DDs...Mine are 3 years old and still look great...I love them because you can go anywhere in them in any weather..(except snow of course)...The beach ,,the pool,,rain ...they are great...:jumping1:

I got the Hurricane version of Tevas on Friday (direct ship from Zappos) and I've worn them all weekend in the rain. They are so great. I'm making sure they are good and broken in when I go!
