Bahahaha.
I love school assemblies. It's gets me out of two classes (and random ones, they switch rotation on assembly days, so I get to miss some classes I really hate), and it's entertaining.

The only thing I hate is the relay races at the end. They usually involve people eating stuff. The one assembly I missed they like blended random breakfast foods from Mc Donalds (the McMuffin, orange juice, hashbrowns) and made people eat it. Everyone on stage was puking, and was missing the garbage.

I would have freaked out.
They're also annoying because you can't see anything.

Next year we're guaranteed the cushioned seats =)
Being a freshman sucked because we always had to sit on the ground, sit on hard chairs, or stand.
Standing for two hours, is not fun.

We have plenty of room at our school. Actually, we have too much room. I live in a small town.

Assemblies, especially pep rallies, are a chance for cheerleaders to announce their availability to the chosen few. They all bug me. Jocks, cheerleaders, and wannabes.

My school has room everywhere but the auditorium. The school is a bit old because it used to be a tech school, but it got redone in 2000 so it could be a regular highschool.
The auditorium was redone a couple years ago, but it's still not big enough.
We have an overcrowding problem in my neighbourhood, so my K-8 school is like bursting with kids, so my school is the feeder school that brings the most kids.

We don't have cheerleaders at my school. We have a spirit crew, which is mostly guy who do body paint and stuff. They've got serious school spirit, I bet they bleed green and white.

Oh my smokes.
I would be crying and running to the nurse's office.
I would get out of school that instant.
I
hate
puke.
:sad1:

I was so glad that I skipped school that day.
It was a half day, so I didn't bother, I slept in.

Spirit crew? Sounds like obsessed fans. :rotfl:

I do too.

I was so glad that I skipped school that day.

I wish that I could skip half days. I haven't missed a full day of school since fifth grade.

Half days they don't take attendance, so I don't bother.
And some days when most of the day is activities, they only take attendance once, so I show up for that and skip the activities.

I hate school activities, that are forced. We had these lame 'Highlander Games' and it was like scottish games, but they were really...
lame?
And attendance was mandatory...
Took a while to get out of that one.

Oh god xD
Yeah, we're the Highlanders, our mascot is
header_short.jpg

That guy.
Yeah, he's pretty hot.

The games were silly like, 'Let's see how far you can throw a stick!'

Wow. And I thought our mascot was awesome. The bear, by the way.

I like the real highland games better. They're awesome to hear about. Crazzzy stuff they do.

My mascot is ripped.
We're getting a huge thing on the floor of the foyer, it's going to be lovely.
He's gonna get trampled everyday.

I've never seen the real Highland games, all I know is my school was trying to evoke school and clan (we have Scottish clans, it's supposed to be a competition) spirit.
I was in the losing clan.
I think my clan has the least spirit xD
And I account for most of the negative spirit.

:rotfl: Poor mascot dude...I feel kinda sorry for him, being trampled by crazy Canadians. ;)

Clans sound interesting. They sound like a strange way to get to know your school better, make new friends...and enemies.

You know he'll love it.
I mean random people will fall on him...
He may take advantage of him.
I hope it's nice. We have a logo in the upstairs foyer on the wall, but it's painted on by hand, so it's not real nice. And that wall is like falling apart.

It would be nice if they actually had us do stuff that helped us meet other people. It'd be nice to have friends in other grades. But we only ever had one clan thing, and it was those games...
And half the school skipped it
I wonder if I have the same clan next year.
I hope so.
I enjoy sucking xP

I am sure that everyone will be in the same clan so they can watch your unforgettable perfomance as the stick thrower. XD

I just noticed that we were on page 100. That's amazing.

Wow? A 100?
That's good progress.

Ahaha, I may shoot myself in the face if they do that again next year.
I don't even think I'd be able to pick up the stick let alone through it. It's like double me.

But I'm sure they'll never forget me.
Me and my clan are close...
I mean I sat next to all of them at a clan assembly once ;P

Only 150 pages to go! It's all downhill from here!

Maybe they won't do clan things next year...But then what will we talk about all summer long? ;)

It really is.

Maybe they won't!
=O
Frightening thought.
The bus runs will be up soon, we can talk about those xD
I can rant if my they change my bus stop.
I liked my options last year.

I don't think they change them often.

I can't wait for things like that to start being posted. They usually start coming out the first week of August.

I want to know who I got for homeroom. I hope it's not the woman I had last year. She picked faves, and I wasn't one of them. I was told that I simply could not read as fast as I do and comprehend, so I cannot take a test to pass the class.

I'd shoot myself if I had the teacher I had last year.
He was awful. He was always going 'JE VEUX TES YEUX' like, he thought we couldn't listen if we weren't staring him in the eyes. He was always half hour late for class, and then after that he disappeared.

But it's unlikely I'll have him at all next year. He teachers mostly Freshman, and Mandarin Chinese.

I have no idea who I could have for homeroom next year other than one of the French teachers...
I'd like to know my entire schedule, who my teachers are and who I have classes with.
I don't find out any of that until the first day is over.

Je means I, but I don't know what the rest of that means...I probably should, but I don't.
