Who is Kevin's "best friend" and why?

I know this one! It's Samantha Brown! Because Kevin told her that she was when he met her at a press event.

This is a great question because it's also a throwback to an old school boards topic. In the days before the video podcast when we all wanted to know what the podcasters looked like Kevin and John were the last holdouts that kept a low (non-existent) online profile. But there was a sort of "secret" way to find Kevin's picture online. Great question!

Ok….now I don’t know about the rest of you….but I LOVE the Travel Channel. I have always been interested in travel and foreign places, and working in the travel industry, you never know where the next great tip is going to come from. I am telling you this because on the way out of the Land Pavilion, I ran into one of my favorite people on TV. I was lucky enough to meet Samantha Brown. Samantha is the host of Great Hotels and Passport to Europe on the Travel Channel. We have a TiVo, so we never miss an episode of either show.

Now, I am going blame my behavior with Ms. Brown on being very tired and having one cocktail ( I swear….it was only one) I was so excited to get to talk to her, I actually blurted out “ you are my best friend”. Don’t know where it came from, not proud of it, have been ridiculed repeatedly for saying it….but there it is. All my “celebrity coolness stuff” was shot down in about 4 seconds. I had run into someone I truly enjoyed watching and became a gushing fool. Samantha was friendly and open. She spent several minutes chatting and even tried to make me feel better about being embarrassed about my behavior.

I should know this one . . . I remember hearing it. Let's try 20 questions:

in order: No, No, knowing Corey and how nervous he was probably yes, and DUH.

It was where they had their first date. This geographical location is not featured in a theme park but it has a connection to a theme park attraction.

On the May 29 2007 podcast, email edition, Cory and Julie Martin explained that Corey proposed to Julie on the banks of the Mississippi River. He said he told her he wanted to take a photo of her, then he said he wanted to take another one and that's when he pulled out the ring. It was one of the first places they went on a date.

Corey has style.

What did Bob do during one podcast that prompted John to remark, "it's roundtable mental illness?"

Ahhhh the infamous empty Dole Whips. I was going to guess that but didn't know for sure. If you picked any moments I used on the best of Bob II show I would've had it. I find myself reciting lines from that all the time.

The best part of Bob moments are the team's reaction to him. I can't decide who makes me laugh more. It's a toss up between Kevin, John and Pete.

I didn't know "Bawb", but he sounds like quite the card! Glad the team has not forgotten him, and glad we still have some very unique "characters" on the team to uplift us, keep us entertained, and make us feel like they're our "friends".

Here is my question:

While the team was filming the Southern California Trivia Challenge in November 2006, Bob mentioned he had "missed" seeing something by one day. The team all joked and said that missing this "thing" was the reason why he hadn't been able to experience it.... (I hope that makes sense)

What did Bob miss by one day?
