We are traveling to WDW in early June and were going to split Epcot into two days, one future world , one world showcase. The day we are going to future world is after a late night so we weren't going to rush in at opening. Have heard that fastpasses go early for test track and was wondering how fast that means. for example if we get there by noon will we still be able to get some for that afternoon or are they usually snapped up by then. Thanks for your opinions.

We were there 02/14. Arrived around 11:30. 45 min. wait for Test Track. Got FP, time window was from 3:45 to around 4:30, so we got one ride in. And the park was fairly crowded.

Over the New Year's holiday was the only time I saw them gone by noon. For Presidents' week a couple of weekends ago they still had them available at noon but they were for later in the day.

Also if you get lucky and Mission Space is open, that will take the FP pressure off TT.

We were there at the end of August and the fast passes went after lunch. I remember, because we were going to get one before lunch, but my DD's wanted to ride it twice (we were going to get a fast pass, wait in line and then by that time it s/b time for the fast pass), by the time we finished lunch THEY WERE GONE!! and the wait was 2hrs long  . We waited:rolleyes: .

Summer is a BUSY time at WDW. The Fastpass for Test Track go early. You can always use the single riders line. There's usually very little wait there.

We were at WDW last June and tried to get Fast Passes for Test Track around 12:30pm on a Sunday. They were for something like 4 hours later so we decided not to get them.
We got to the International Gateway early the next morning and as soon as the rope dropped we (along with a LOT of other people) worked our way towards Test Track. All of a sudden a HUGE crowd of people were running towards TT. Apparently they were coming from the main entrance. So we got there as quickly as we could, grabbed FP and then got on line. The wait wasn't too long but the line was growing. Because there were minor ride problems the CM at the exit asked us if we wanted to ride again. Of course we all said YES so off we went. Got off and then back on right away with our FP. Three rides in a row and then we headed out of the park.
Test Track has become enormously popular so plan ahead or you will be disappointed.
As someone earlier said, if Mission Space is opened it should help our TT a lot.
Good Luck and have fun!

In mid-May the fastpasses for TT were usually gone by 2:00 - 3:00 so I would imagine in June they would be gone a little sooner probably closer to 1:00 - 2:00.

I think that's a reasonable guess becca. In March during fairly crowded Spring Break crowds (pretty similar to what June will be like) they were gone by 1:00 or so. Even at park opening when we walked as fast as our kiddos legs could when we made it to TT the standby line was already 45 minutes so we grabbed a FP. We are going to try an EMH day this year and maybe will have a better chance? Of all the rides we've gone to at opening it was by far the most crowded the fastest (with Space Mountain being a close second).

As someone already mentioned, the single riders line is a nice alternative if fast passes are gone. That line is usually anywhere from a 2 to 10 minute wait. Of course, the down side is that you won't be riding with your party.

Also, a little off topic, but I can't imagine what the Mission:Space rush is going to be like! Are we going to have to be pitching tents outside the Epcot entrance the night before??? :)

last year the first week in June, fastpasses were generally gone by about 1 to 2pm. we were getting fp's at noon that were for comeback times of 6-7pm! I agree, when they get MS opened; that should help aleviate some of the pressure on TT.

When we went in June '02, DW and DD5 didn't want to wait in line for the 90 minutes. The fastpass wouldn't have been good until 5 pm and it was only 11 am. I went in the single rider line. I kept an eye on the people in front and behind me as if they were with me to see how far apart we would have been on the ride. We all got on within two cars of each other and were separated by one 15 seconds or so getting off. Total wait time in the single rider line.......10 minutes!

Why don't you visit the World Showcase the day after tye late night (it opens at 11:00AM), and the other day go early so you don't have this problem? Only a suggestion.
