Pam- They pressured washed it yesterday and are going to let it dry fror a couple of days then start it Friday if the weather holds.

Sweet- No I don't drive them to school Chris gets the bus from my sisters house and she drives Connor to and from school (the preschool and Kindergarten are the same place)

Looks like we may actually get to start soccer this weekend.

I think I have my summer help organized...well hopefully! I was talking to this kid at work and his girlfriend is looking for a summer job while she is back from college. I need to meet her and all that jive first before I say for sure but he said she just quit working at a daycare center in omaha to move back for the summer. Hopefully she will pan out.

You know, I really need a tan.
I really need to declutter my house.
I really need to be more organized....
I could go on but i am sure you don't want to hear about it

Evening all...just dropping by quick like before AI comes on....yes, I really think it will be Jordin & Chris...I like Jordin, but her song last night just wasn't her......and I love Wanted..Dead or Alive, but I wasn't too keen on Chris's rendition...but overall, it was a good musical night.

Dancing WTS's was predicatable.....I saw them say Joey has lost 75 lbs. does that seem right? anyway, you can tell he has slimmed down...so I guess all I really need to do is get on DWTS's and I'll be slim and trim.....

Can't believe it is almost 9 p.m.....seems like I just got home.....

Ed, your new house painting sounds cool, and I bet you are gonna love the new shade.

About to hit the hay but thought i would stop by. We went out for trent's bday...to a chinese buffet of all places I'm sure i gained the 6 lbs. that i have lost thus far back. Then we got trent a new bat for his bday so we went to the ball park and tried it out. I even hit with the bat...have to say...it is a pretty nice one

Noah starts his baseball practice tomorrow. His new thing: He took sugar packets from the buffet place tonight and said that if he eat those he will get an energy burst I told him he had ENOUGH energy as he is alway bouncing off the walls.

Tomorrow is nekkid day and it is suppose to be a nice day here...ed better check out that website we talked about I'll be at ya

Well here we go again. I got an e-mail yesterday from our Human Resources office in Memphis saying they are trying to reach me about the job in Memphis. Oh you mean the job I looked into back in DECEMBER??? Note says they can't locate a good phone number to reach me. Hang on I have an idea...check my PERSONEL FILE I bet there is a number or two there that come to me!!

Pam, sounds like Trent had a good birthday...he is like my oldest son, his birthday always produced something new for baseball. Good bats, gloves, cleats etc. do cost $$...but I always felt good about spending the $$ if they were put to good use

KS, what didya think of Idol last night? I was a little bit off with Phil getting the hook, really thought Jordin would go, but kinda anticipated Chris. And ya know, I like Bon Jovi, but that new song they sang.....snooze fest for me....I didn't care for it...where is the rock n roll baby, that's what I like.

Choral concert was very nice, despite a heavy-handed spiritual theme evidently designed to expose our little crackers to the 'otherside'. Director actually made some innane remark about the need to expose our children to diversity. The few african american participants looked mortified. Raised my DS to select friends based on charactar, not the color of their skin. Nothing better than a lecuture @ a school function...aimed to the parents. So glad he moves up & we don't have to deal with her next year. Last practice before the concert she told them they were the worst group she's ever had; and that she'd be happy if they just all stayed @ home. Must be a new form of teaching motivation.
I need to get a school day countdown going.

ks--that is awful of that teacher to say...glad your ds doesn't have her much longer. Trent is 12. This year ought to be loads of fun with his attitude Every time i talk to my mom i ask her how she raised 5 of us!!! Seems I have a hard time raising 3

mic--atleast it is another day which puts us a day closer to friday

He went full days for kindergarden this year. The only change moving to first grade will be going later into June, this year he ends school a few weeks earlier.

So I guess Bob & Ed will be doing soccer runs this weekend...good luck to the boys!!

Afternoon my friends...

lunch is over, now the last 2.75 hrs. will drag like heck

KS, what an awful thing for a teacher to say to her students!! and to get a lecture to boot...baa on that....but you know, I think each of us encountered such a teacher in the school years of our kids, there is always one or two of them around. I'm sure the kids will be glad to be moving up and away from her too...that sentiment can work both ways

Pam, you are just starting the teen years......youse got a long way to go sista, so be prepared

Bob, I can hardly believe Ryan is 2 years old! Time just goes by so fast...do we have a theme picked for the party? and if you told us, I'm sorry, I've forgotten...humor an old lady and tell me again

Not much else happening, they keep saying rain and none has fallen, but it is cooler today.....and OH how I wish it was Friday, but as Pam says, we are a day closer....this week hasn't been too bad, it hasn't flown by, but yet it hasn't creeped along either. I can't believe only 27 days and I'm on the road again

Surprised Phil got the boot. Never really cared for him, nice enough & seems to have a central-casting back story; think he'll find a niche somewhere - perhaps in the burgeoning christian market?

Feel bad for Jordin; only 17 -- how do these kids handle it?

I really hate to say it, Melinda's persona/looks get on my nerves. She has such an odd look; but would be able to pull it off if she wasn't always doing that weird shuck & jive; humble 'lil me bit hanging her head. Not sure if it's real or fake; but so off-putting. If I hear the story one more time about how the poor session singer just rode along with her friends and was 'forced to' audition; i'm going to hurl.

I'd love to see lakisha cool1: name lol) take it; no professional training - single mother, etc.

Of course, i've got no taste to speak of, was starting to warm up to Sanjaya's hair.
