Had a great dinner, looking forward to ice cream (yumm, haven't had any since last vacation); wonder if i have any whipped cream...hmm.

We're celebrating by shoveling snow, still haven't gotten the car open; too much ice. shall work some more on it later; supposed to be in double Negative digits tomorrow am; afraid my battery will die...AAA

mac - didn't know AAA rates ever dropped, will have to keep an eye on them for June @ RPR. i've never seen that issue of collector cards, how very . Looked in the bathroom mirror this am, saw my above-posted double. I need to wear make up, lots & lots of make up.

mic - luv the dolls ; any plans tonight? I'm lucky if i see a hairdresser every 3 months , wind up chopping my bangs in the meantime & getting heck lol. Do you get your nails done too (i've never been to a manicurist - too cheap). Eye still yucky, but looks somewhat better; much smaller - thanks for asking.

deena - sorry to hear about your sick kids, hope feel better soon.

pam - meant to ask, did you ever try Fresca? (a coke diet product) They finally started re-selling it in our area, almost good as diet Mt. Dew.

Evening all....yep, we are in the same boat as you Keisha, cold, snow and ice....where we cleaned up, it melted, but I bet will be icy again come morning, it is bitter this evening.

Glad your eye is doing better, and yes, lots of makeup does wonders for me too...LOL...still can't hide the sagging skin that comes with age I've decided to not fight it, just go with it. Can't reverse years, although it would be nice.

Yep, I'm a nail junky too, I get my nails done. I have ugly hands and nails along with lifeless hair and unflawless skin so I need all the help I can get. The salon called ME today to reschedule, guess 2 days of being closed hurts and they want to work everyone back in, so I go Saturday morning...hate taking part of the day for that, BUT, it goes back to that old needing all the help I can get to look presentable

Nothing special for us for Valentine's...we are unromantic I guess...plus I need to watch spending til we get the taxes paid and get used to a new car payment. Nope, no more whining.....let's change the subject.

Mac, you still shoveling? You ought to submit a bill to whoever owns the house that you are shoveling at

I have been home for awhile but waiting for the computer. Dave was printing out directions, intinaries and such as he is leaving tomorrow with his parents and going to Texas to watch Nebraska baseball. He will be gone until Monday sometime.

So I went and rented me some chick flicks for this weekend. I will be busy though...the boys both have basketball games and then I want to run to Lincoln to get Noah and Aubrey some new shoes...I just bought noah some 2 months ago and they are already to small He is almost 9 and just outgrew a size 6 His feet are bigger than mine.

Then Sunday my mom is coming to pick up the kids as i have to work for 4 hours at wal-mart. The kids don't have school on monday so they are just going to stay at her house


Anyway, heading off to bed....see you all nekkid on nekkid day.....i bet we will all be able to tell it's cold outside!!

Good Morning everyone.

My drive this morning wasn't too bad just alot of traffic, they had close another highway because a tractor trailer jackknifed so all the cars that usually take that road were on mine. Last night was another story did about 20 the whole way till i was coming down a hill that also take a left as you go down, well my car didn't feel like going left so it kept going straight lucky for me there was nothing in the other lane, I just took my foot off the gas put the car in low until it got traction back and slowed down, I got off the highway 2 exits later and took the back roads home.

I'm back to work today, but really busy all day. We got like 18 inches to 2 feet and I was outside shovelling 4 times yesterday, but we've got the cleanest driveway in the neighborhood.

Ed, that sounds kind scary, your drive home, glad no one was in front of you and you could stop. I got out this morning, but it was all ice and our street was plowed, but not well...the main roads and streets are messy. You could still walk on top of the snow on the ice and not fall through, that is how hard and cold it is. Tonight getting into my parking space will be fun

Tony, sorry you have to leave us for a bit, but we understand and anytime you can drop by, please do, and when things settle down, join in the again...just let us know once in a while that you are doing ok

That has got to be the scariest feeling! Glad there wasn't someone in the next lane.

I did that the other night except for i popped over a hill and there was someone stopped in front of me...its a good thing i wasn't going very fast because i put my breaks on and started sliding....thank god i grew up on country road(aka rock roads for all of you who don't know what country roads are ) and knew what to do when you actually needed to stop and start sliding. I had dave's new car too...wouldn't that have been nice...he has it for a day and I wreck it

we are usually the slackers of the neighborhood....we have quite a few retired people that live around us so they scoop their drive 4-5 times a day, mow their lawn every day...you know...we are the scrappy looking ones
