Hi everyone........home from work...we actually had a good day today, some good laughs and it really went by quickly, mostly cause I was trying to be as caught up as I could be, plus all my office supplies came in and I had to put all that stuff away...anyhoot, it was just a good day.

I've got stuff to do, but decided to drop by for a bit, glad I did as my son IM'd me on his laptop, seems they are delayed about 1/2 already :guilty: they may get here by tomorrow morning sometime  Doesn't matter, we can all nap tomorrow.

Bond, James Bond, ooh when Sean Connery said that... :thumbsup2 those movies were the bomb when I was a teen. I remember going to see all of the ones with Sean Connery in them. Never cared for those that followed, Roger Moore was ok, and Pierce certainly was a dapper looking guy. TNT shows the marathon as KS said, usually around New Years, and I catch a couple of the oldies. Jane Seymour played a Bond girl...remember PussyGalore from Goldfinger? Man, those were good movies in the day.

SOOOOOOOOOO....my grandson got on the cell phone and said "grandma, when we get to your house, me, my dad, my mom, Dylan you and your husband :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: are going for a hike on the towpath....I cracked up........not grandpa, but MY HUSBAND......too stinkin' funny...that boy is something else.

Well, got the beds all dressed and set up, really need to run the vacumm, but I swear I don't feel like it...need to take a nap too before heading to BWI later this evening.......or I'll be passed out by the time they arrive.......

Momma, loved the story of the mashed tators, that is so cute! Those are the things that makes holidays special, the memories of fun stuff.

Deena, are you cooking?

Pam, your day with the inlaws can be considered your community service for the year :goodvibes

Bob, your wife's trip sounds cool...she is very lucky to see so much of the world

Mac, we can compare notes on roasting the bird....Momma, I bought the Hawaiian Brand rolls for dinner too!! I got a pack of the white and a pack of the whole wheat...Sam's had them for like $3 bucks for a big pack...yum, they are good.....I'm gonna make some monkey bread for the boys I think this weekend, they will like it...just what they need a sugar high ;)

tell me how to make monkey bread

1st you gotta find a monkey...

a young, fresh one:stir:

sorry, couldn't resist.

If mic doesn't have the rec. I'll pull mine out, lots of diff. variations, some sweet, some with cheese, etc...I cheat & use frozen bread dough.

Still getting weak in the knees thinking about Bond:teeth: .

mic - how very funny...least he didn't call him "your old man", I do so hate that phrase; enjoy the youngins.

Mac, when I dig the recipe out for my monkey bread, I'll post it...I cheat too and use refrigerator biscuits...I'm going to try using Grands this time instead of the buttermilk ones...they are small and the Grands are well, grand, so I'm gonna see how it goes. I have flavor packs from Tupperware that are Cinnamon/Vanilla flavored, and you mix it with sugar, cut up the biscuits in cubes, dip in melted butter, than roll in the sugar concoction, pile in a loaf pan and bake...........yummmmmmmyyyyyy

KS, LOL.....I'm out looking for my young monkey right now :rotfl2:

Did a little more puttering around, dh is taking nap, so no running the vacuum cleaner, and I'm just too wired to do anything constructive anyway. I can do some stuff tomorrow, they will be out visiting family I'm sure once they get up and moving.

I'm gonna go watch a little TV, that will surely put me to sleep for a bit... :teeth:

No my grandma is eating with us so she is cooking most of it. I offered to cook some stuff and she gave me green beans!?!? I guess she doesnt care for my cooking since green beans is about the easiest thing to make :confused3 Oh well..........I have to admit she is a better cook.

Morning all!

I have to get in gear and get outta here. Have a lot of errands to run before we leave town and go see disney on ice.

Have a great day everyone!

Morning!

mac - all the boys go thru that business with their sweeties...it too shall pass;).

deena - you can do a lot with green beans; i like them drowned in cheez whiz, 'shrooms & bacon...totally negating any healthy factor they may have once had. I do so hate the casserole w/onion rings & canned mushroom soup...ate so much of that stuff...eww.

pam - sounds like a tres :cool1: outing...what's the theme this year?

we've skipped it in the past because it was too "girly" princess-ey, perhaps this year; waiting for review.

We got a call from the lady who is fostering our kittens till we get back from WDW, she asked if we wanted to come see our kitties.

Hey Ed, cool kitties....what cuties...your boys are gonna love having them...

Are you getting excited about your trip?

Hi mac, just a quick drive by, finally quit yakking today and running around...they all are playing UNO, and we all are having a few drinks, just relaxing and having a good family evening!! I stole away to drop by to say hi and read some emails....have done a million dishes already, and the week is just beginning...LOL...

See everyone later........ :wave2:

The number one burning question!! why was I worried about cleaning and straightening up???? 1 day in the house with 4 extra people and it looks like a madhouse...............

ed - them kitties sure are cuties:thumbsup2 I'm counting 4: 2 grey, 2 tan; which is/are yours?

Ladies..James Bond was hot, hot, hot! Never much cared for blue-eyed, blonde types but, I'd make an exception in his case

hope y'all have a good sunday

Morning all!

Disney on Ice was just okay. It didn't hold aubrey's intrest as much as i thought it would. It wasn't all princess-ey. the beginning of it was and then it hit on lion king, pinocchio, incredibles, it's a small world, mulan, alladin, and probably a couple others i am forgetting.

got home last night and went to a friends house for some girl talk. Then today it was my day to teach so off to church and sunday school i went. I will be there every week until our christmas program as the little kindergarteners have quite a bit to learn in a little time so all the help they could use is a good thing.

Now i am veggin' thinking about getting up and making some lunch and then may take a nap :teeth: I think dave is going to put up the x-mas lights outside today--not turn them on yet but just put them up since it is suppose to be pretty nice out today.

mic--hope you are having a good time with your family!
ks-- did you get the goods? we went to toys r us yesterday and the kids were playing some of those neat games.
ed--very cute kitties you have...atleast you will have something to look forward to when you come home from vacation.
mac--got us covered today? i could always us more coverage! :teeth:

Have a good sunday everyone!
